One character will play a slightly larger role in Cross season 2. In season 1, the Prime Video series revolves around the character created by James Patterson, Detective Alex Cross (Aldis Hodge), as he teams up with his partner John Sampson (Isaiah Mustafa) to solve a murder case in series while dealing with the aftermath of his wife’s murder. Prime Video greenlit the series for one more season before the premiere of the first season,
Cross show creator Ben Watkins said Weekly entertainment that second season will show more of John. Check out what he said below:
We can peel back a layer of John, where you can see a little bit of his story and see him deal with his emotions. You’ve seen how good he is at holding his friend accountable and helping him deal with deep emotions. You didn’t see how he would do it if he was the one who had to face this.
