Jojo’s Strange Adventure may have a reputation as a particularly masculine series overall, but that hasn’t stopped it from including some very strong women over the years. Since a stone ability is only the manifestation of one’s soul, anyone can have a powerful stone with a strong enough will.
While female stand users were somewhat rarer than their male counterparts, there were still many powerful female stand users, both as allies and enemies of the Joestar family. Their abilities can vary widely, from healing to memory manipulation to raw offensive power, which can make them a bit difficult. Versatility plays a big role in the rating of stand users, as a stand that can be used for many different things tends to be much more useful overall than one that has raw power and little else. Still, raw power is definitely a factor that must be considered. Here are 10 of the strongest, most versatile female stand users from across the series.

Hot pants have vital healing abilities
Appears in: Part 7, Steel Ball Run
Hot Pants is a competitor in the Steel Ball Run, and an ally of Johnny. Hot pants deliberately dresses ambiguously to allow themselves to pass as male. She is actually a secret agent who works for the Vatican, with the goal of interfering with the American government’s plan to collect the parts of the Saint’s body. She is also quite skilled at horseback riding, keeping at the top of the pack throughout much of the race.
Hot pants’ stand, cream starter, is quite unusual, taking the form of a pair of spray cans. It can spray a fleshy substance that will become like new skin after it solidifies, allowing you to modify your body (including your face, for disguise purposes) and heal injuries. Cream starter can also be used offensively, such as to block someone’s mouth or nose and prevent them from breathing.

Mirashon gambles with her enemy’s organs
Appears in: Part 6, Stone Ocean
Miraschon is a relatively minor villain who confronts Joline in the yard at the Green Dolphin Street Prison, challenging her to a bet. She was given her rock, Marilyn Manson, by Pucci, specifically to interfere with Joline. While Jolyne wins their initial bet, Ermes and FF have the chance to win even more, and cheat cheating to try to win. Miraschon’s Stand collects not only Ermes’ money, but also her gold tooth and her liver, as the Stand enforces the terms of any bets made with Miraschon.
Jolyne must make a new bet to win back Ermes’ possessions (and organs). She manages to find a loophole in the terms of the bet and ends up beating the tar out of Miraschon with the baseball they’d been playing catch with, leaving her utterly defeated.

Guessing can diminish anyone
Appears in: Part 6, Stone Ocean
Gwess is Jolyne’s cellmate and the first enemy stun user she encounters in Green Dolphin Street Prison. Gwess’s Stand, Goo Goo Dolls, is a long-range stand that can shrink targets down to the size of a mouse, including humans. The effect lasts as long as the target remains within a certain distance of Guess, and escaping from that distance becomes exponentially more difficult for someone shrunk down.
In terms of power, Goo Goo Dolls isn’t very strong, but against shrunken targets, it’s surprisingly dangerous. Jolyne finally defeats Gwess by ensnaring her with Stone Free when Gwess returns Jolyne to normal size in an attempt to get her caught by the guards.
7
Trish Una is a gangster boss’s daughter
Appears in: Part 5, Golden wind
Trish Una is the daughter of Diavolo, the leader of Passione, and has been hidden from the world to prevent her from being used as leverage against him. Giorno, Bucciarati and the others have to search for her to protect her. While she initially did not have a rock, she develops one soon after they find her. Her stone, Spice Girl, is a close-range stone of moderate strength that can soften any material she strikes with it, giving the object in question a spongy consistency.
Protecting Trish is a major focus of Part 5, but Trish becomes more independent and capable of defending herself once Spice Girl manifests. She plays a key role in defeating Notorious Big, a dangerous automaton that feeds on energy.
6
Kei Nijimura is ice cold
Appears in: Part 8, Jojolion
Kei Nijimura is first introduced as the housekeeper to the Higashikata family, who bring Josuke in after he is found without memories among the mysterious Wall of Eyes along the coast of Morioh. Kei first appears as an enemy, believing Josuke’s attempts to investigate the family line are proof that he is out to harm them. She uses her automatic pursuit-type stand, Born This Way, to chase down Josuke when he tries to visit Holy Joestar-Kira (secretly her mother, making her a counterpart to Jotaro) at the hospital.
Born this way takes the form of a biker on a motorcycle, who chases down whatever target it is given relentlessly as soon as they open something, and creates a chilling wind wherever it goes. After Josuke defeats her, the two come to an understanding, and Kei reveals the secret of his origins to him.
5
Yasuho Hirose can track anything
Appears in: Part 8, Jojolion
Yasuho Hirose is a “friend” of Joshu Higashikata, and grows close to Josuke once he starts living with the Higashikata family. Her rock, Paisley Park, is far more utility focused than most, able to manipulate technology to help Yasuho learn information or guide those close to her to safety.. It often takes the form of the GPS on her phone, allowing her to guide Josuke away from enemies. Paisley Park will also occasionally present yasuho choices, providing you with an object that will soon become useful.
Related
Paisley Park has some offensive ability, but isn’t really used for fighting much. It is a stone that is extremely powerful in a modern world full of technology, allowing you to delete traces of their activities or hack into servers to get valuable data. In a sense, this is the ultimate support rock.
4
Miuxia Mueller toys with memory
Appears in: Part 6, Stone Ocean
Miuccia Miuller is another stand user of Green Dolphin Street Prison who stands against Jolyne. Miu Miu, as she is often called, is actually the main guard of the prison, and tries to prevent Joline from escaping. Her stone ability, Prison House Lock, can impose a condition on targets that allows them to only be able to remember three pieces of information at a time, making it incredibly difficult to execute complex plans.
Miu Miu is eventually defeated by Jolyne with Emporio’s help, and they force her to use her stone ability on the other guards, making it trivial for them to escape from the prison as the guards quickly forget their existence.
3
FF is a colony of plankton
Appears in: Part 6, Stone Ocean
Foo Fighters, or FF for short, is a sentient colony of plankton who were given a rock by Pucci, intending to protect his collection of stolen rock discs. Originally confronting Jolyne, FF becomes loyal to her when Jolyne spares FF after she is defeated. FF then possesses the body of a dead prisoner, and proceeds to use this form for the rest of the series. FF’s Stance, which shares her name, is what bestows the Colony Sentence and allows her to possess human bodies, as well as heal injuries and even fire projectiles.
FF’s biggest weakness is that she needs a lot of water to keep the colony of plankton well hydrated, or else she will begin to die at a fairly rapid rate.
2
Ermes can duplicate objects
Appears in: Part 6, Stone Ocean
Ermes Costello is Jolyne’s greatest ally in prison, a woman who orchestrated her own arrest in an attempt to get revenge on her sister’s killer. Ermes originally joins forces with Jolyne because Jolyne has greater familiarity with stands, as a measure of practicality. She discovers a pendant (actually a stone arrow’s head) and cuts herself on it, which gives her the stone kiss. Kush takes the form of stickers that, when placed on an object, duplicate it. When the sticker is removed, the two duplicates fall together and rejoin into one.
Related
Kiss is a versatile stone with a lot of possible applications, which makes it very difficult to predict. It can be used offensively, as the process of fusing the two duplicates can be very violent and cause a lot of damage. It also has practical uses, such as applying it to an object, giving the object to someone else, and then removing the sticker, instantly steal the object back.
1
Jolyne’s Stone Free is the strongest
Appears in: Part 6, Stone Ocean
Joline is the daughter of Jotaro and the main protagonist of part 6. Joline also initially does not have a stone, but gets one by cutting himself on the same stone arrow’s head as Ermes. Her stand, stand free, is a power-type that allows Jolyne to unravel her body into string, making it exceptionally versatile. She can use the string to attack, to move around, and to spy on others, as well as many other uses. When the string comes together in a single form, it takes on a humanoid appearance, allowing it to attack like her father’s stone, with powerful punches.
Jolyne’s Stand is one of the more powerful ones in the franchise, and she is able to use it in both forms. Jolyne can be quite reckless when it comes to fights, making her an unpredictable opponent. She is quite scrappy and willing to do almost anything to win, a bit like her great-grandfather Joseph. These factors come together to make Jolyne without a doubt Jojo’s Strange Adventures strongest female stand user.
