What Boba Fett fighting the Empire would have meant for Star Wars
Few considered fighting for the rebellion a profitable prospect.
At the height of its power, the Galactic Empire was a dominating force that often had the Rebel Alliance on its back footEven after the opposition left the government in power with some major complaints about morale and infrastructure. As such, while Boba Fett may have been a formidable fighter with his name known across the galaxy, he may not have much use for the Alliance beyond being a useful agent in certain scenarios.
Furthermore, with Boba having loyalties to the Hutt Cartel Syndicate during the Galactic Civil War, his hands may have been tied, as The organization arranged an alliance with the Empire. As such, Boba would be forced to choose between helping the alliance and remaining loyal to his employers, and while he has a code, Boba may ultimately side with the best offer.
Boba can still go head-to-head with the Imperial Remnant
Boba’s new lease on life transforms him into a handsome ruler
In the wake of the Galactic Civil War and the post-Empire period, the situation is very different. Through his time with the Tusken tribes, Boba is able to rediscover the importance of community and unityEspecially in the most lawless areas of the galaxy, something that would inspire him to rule as daimyo. Furthermore, he has no qualms about turning on Imperial remnants, as seen when he aids efforts to recover Grogu from Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito).

As such, with Boba setting up shop in Mos Espa and other settlements across Tatooine as a fair and just daimyo, it’s unlikely that he would stand for anything that could bring back the old ways he once served. As such, the fan-made animation is a stunning capture of how Boba’s attitude towards the Empire could be depicted going forward in the Star Wars Universe.
