The mysterious man who holds the Jackal’s fate in his hands

While it is quite a coincidence that the Jackal was found by a mysterious man while being hunted by MI6, the large, burly figure did not resemble any of the agents assigned to capture him. Instead, it makes more sense that this man is simply someone who owns the land where the Jackal tried to rest for the night. The Jackal was able to crawl into a barn, find a bale of hay, and store his gun under the haystack before taking a nap, so it’s most likely this man is the owner of the barnand does not like invaders on its lands.

However, there is the possibility that it is another agent from a competing agency. Or, potentially, an associate of a former victim, someone connected to the new employers who hired the Jackal’s services, or even some kind of rival hoping to get the lucrative contract for which the Jackal is currently employed. For the big reveal, The Day of the Jackal episode 6 will be the most enlightening featurebut as it stands, it seems more likely that he was a simple farmer.

Jackal’s plans took a big step in the wrong direction

A big setback for Jackal’s current contract

Currently, Jackal has been employed by a secret coalition of billionaires who oppose Ulle Dag Charles’ plan to launch a new computer program called River. Despite being the richest man in the world, the UDC wants money to become more transparent and for those less fortunate to understand where money is being gathered and held back by wealthy individuals, rather than distributed for the greater good of all.

As a result, Jackal was hired to kill UDC, also known as Rodin, to prevent this program from being distributed globally. However, thanks to Norman Stoke and shrewd MI6 agent Bianca Pullman, Jackal is now stranded in a foreign country, with some of his belongings abandoned, and now captured by a possible civilian. He may have the perfect weapon for the job, but he needs to escape, get transport to the location in Estonia and make sure MI6 loses track of him. Whatever happens, The Day of the Jackal episode 6 is sure to be as exciting and action-packed as the rest of the series so far.
