How to Solve the Coin Puzzle (Wood Side Apartments)

Puzzles are one of the classic mechanics found in all games. silent Hill franchise, and Silent Hill 2 Remake no different. Puzzle coin V Wood Side Apartments not only requires you to collect suitable coins to use, but also has some clever poems you will need to decide to finish it.

After you have collected silver Man/Knife coins, gold Woman/Cross coins and bronze Snake/Flower coins.make your way to Reception where a box of coins is hidden under a sheet. Remove the dirty sheet and at the top you will see a poemprompting you to place coins in the correct slots. Here is a solution guide for all four poems.

First poem

Girl, Flower and Man


Solution for the first poem and coin in Silent Hill 2 Remake.

The first poem shows a woman under a tree with a flower behind her. However, a man approaches:

There will be three bright coins in five holes,

The first one sits is the Virgin under the tree.

The wind blows because of the Virgin,

only a beautiful Flower must grow.

And here comes a Man, so smooth and handsome,

his eyes shine in the pale moonlight.

The correct solution to this puzzle is to place Woman in the center of the slotunder the image of a tree. Next, place the Flower in the rightmost cell“behind” the Woman as she looks to the left. Finally, A man enters the far left slot“entering” stage left.

Second poem

Blade, Afraid, Away


Solution for the second poem and coin in Silent Hill 2 Remake.

In the second poem, the man shows a knife. This causes the woman to run to the flower in fear:

The man is approaching, his Blade is now revealed,

his face disappears behind shiny steel.

The Virgin runs from a man,

Toward the Flower, away from the tree.

The flower coin remains in the rightmost slot.. Toss a silver coin onto the knife. side and move it one slot to the right (second slot from the left). Then move Woman one position to the right (second slot from the right), next to the Flower.

Third poem

Death and Reflection


Solution for the third poem and coin in Silent Hill 2 Remake.

In the third poem, a woman dies, leaving behind a grave with a man standing over it. Instead of a flower there is now a snake:

Where the Flower once grew, poisonous rejoicing,

where the Girl once was, but now there is a stone.

And a Man remains above her Grave,

his blade never touched the vein of the vile Snake.

This solution requires flipping each coin. in its opposite direction. Firstly, you will need toss a bronze coin from flower to Snakeand leave it in rightmost slot. Toss a gold coin from woman to Cross-tombstoneand leave it in second slot from right. Toss a silver coin back to ManAnd move it to the center slot.

Fourth poem

Who do you blame?


Solution to the fourth poem and coin in Silent Hill 2 Remake.

The last poem lists the three characters in the story: Man, Girl and Snake. However, he asks you make a choice: Who is to blame for what happened?

The beast whose teeth in her flesh gave birth,

The one who failed, She who is no more.

Now you have the hard work to do

who bears the blame for what fate has in store?

To solve this puzzle all you have to do is move the coin to the top slot for whom do you think this is the cause of the woman’s death. Either of these options will successfully solve the puzzle, which will give you Apartment 201 Key as a reward.
