The golden bachelorette runner-up Guy Gansert will likely be The Golden Bachelor, despite the shocking revelation of his disturbing restraining order controversy. Guy, a 66-year-old emergency room doctor from Reno, Nevada, was one of 24 bachelors Golden men who came to Bachelor mansion to compete for the heart of 61-year-old Joan Vassos. Joan was a widowed private school administrator from Maryland who made her television debut during The Golden Bachelor season 1. Just as Joan connected with 72-year-old Gerry Turner, she had a family emergency and had to leave the show early.
When Joan tearfully said goodbye to Gerry, she thought that Bachelor the trip is over. Little did she know, it was just beginning. It wasn’t long before Joan was announced as The golden bachelorette. After a season of hookups, hookups, false starts, and rose ceremonies, Joan reduced his field of men to 60-year-old Guy and Chock Chapple. In the end, Joan gave her final rose to Chock, sending Guy home alone. Despite recent disturbing revelations, Guy could be chosen to replace Gerry as the next The Golden Bachelor.
Joan ripped out the guy’s heart
Your heart belonged to another man
Guy fell madly in love with Joan during The golden bachelorette Season 1, and he couldn’t say enough, despite the fact that Joan never responded. On their last day together, Guy woke up to torrential rain, which should have served as a harbinger of the approaching storm. Guy was optimistic as he prepared to see Joan. He was supposed to meet her family that day, but when he got to her room, her family wasn’t there. Frozen, Guy knew something was wrong.
Joan sat Guy down and told him that although she loved him, her feelings weren’t where they needed to be. She didn’t want to trick him by introducing him to her family. Digging the knife deeper, Joan told him her heart belonged to someone else. Guy cried, holding Joan for the last time. As Joan walked away, Guy stood outside in the rain, watching her leave, like a character in a romantic comedy. The images were so cinematic that it seemed like they could be a great opening for The Golden Bachelor season 2.
Dude is a good catch
Doctor at home
Guy has a lot going for him. He is an emergency room physician and loving father of four children. In addition to being successful, Guy takes care of himself and appears to be in excellent shape. There probably are many women who would be excited to date an attractive doctorso producers would have no problem casting women in The Golden Bachelor season 2. Although there were several impressive Golden men competing for Joan’s heart in The golden bachelorette Season 1, Guy was one of the most impressive.
Guy’s Restraining Order Controversy Explained
It’s not a problem
Although Guy was the favorite to be The Golden Bachelor, a recent revelation may have ruled out his chances. People recently reported that Guy’s ex-wife, Heidi O’Gara, filed a temporary protective order against Guy in October 2021. Guy’s ex-wife accused him of having anger issues and making threats. She further alleged that he made a gesture with his hand, seeming to suggest that he was going to shoot her.
Heidi withdrew the order a month later, and it was never officially granted by a judge, so it likely won’t be taken into consideration when launching the order. Bachelor the spin-off’s next male lead.
