Strange Alien Metal (SAM) is a resource in satisfactory. It is quite rare, but it can be used in high-level recipes. You probably won’t use this ore until a late-game rank of nine or higher. Still, you can stock up on SAM beforehand and have a large cache ready in the meantime. This will be invaluable when trying to complete Project Assembly during the main story of satisfactory.
