Robyn Brown’s plans for Coyote Pass reveal her denial about the family breakup

Robin Brown emerges as the villain of sister wife After mixing in Cody Brown’s three other marriages. The polygamist was already married to Meri Brown, Janelle Brown and Christine Brown before Robin became his fourth wife in sister wife Season 1. The show depicted the Browns and their 18 children living in near-perfect unity, with the sister wives working together to raise their families communally. In 2018, the family moved from Las Vegas to Flagstaff, Arizona, where they planned to build a family compound on land they referred to as Coyote Pass.

Unfortunately, the Coyote Pass dream never came to fruition. Cody and Robin’s marriage grew stronger over the years, to the detriment of Cody’s relationships with his other wives. He began spending a disproportionate amount of time with Robin and her children. Robin’s demands put an irreparable strain on Cody’s other marriages. Meri, Janelle, and Christine felt neglected, and even worse, their children grew up with Cody. Between 2021 and 2023, all three left their marriages, leaving Cody and Robin to live monogamously.

Robin said she sees her home on Coyote Pass and Meri and Janelle’s homes. Cody’s response was cold, telling his wife, “The ship has sailed.”

Although she admitted the family dynamic was “A little different” after Cody’s three divorces.

Robin struggles to let go of the vision she has for her family. She often mourned the loss of her sister-in-law, citing her dream that they would grow old together. In November 2023, Robin spoke to People About how she loves the “camaraderie“What came with having sister wives. Although she admitted the family dynamic was “A little differentAfter Cody’s three divorces, she still refused to give up on her belief that the family would remain unified, saying,I hope and I pray that it is possible.”

Since joining the Brown family, Robin has touted her love for plural marriage and commitment to building a solid family foundation. However, her actions do not match her claims. If she was committed to polygamy, Robin would have ensured Cody had strong relationships with each of his wives. This would have required allowing him to spend equal time with them and avoid getting caught up in Cody’s drama with his other wives.

Robin is in denial about the end of Cody’s marriage

She refuses to admit that she played a role in the breakdown of the family

Robin’s statements are a sign of her deep denial about the state of the Browns’ plural family. What is unknown is whether she is really in disbelief about the dissolution of the family or if she is removing herself from the situation to avoid taking responsibility. Robin tends to play innocent and play the victim, shifting blame despite her contribution to the family’s struggles.

Robyn’s denial is an indication that she is not ready to accept how her actions contributed to the end of Cody’s marriages to Meri, Janelle and Christine. Her interference in their relationship has a ripple effect, and Robin is unprepared for the repercussions. Her marriage to Cody is now suffering, and her denial allows her to avoid facing the unknown fate ahead of her.

Coyote Pass represented the aspirations of the Brown family to live together in harmony. Unfortunately, the empty land now represents their broken dreams. By clinging to her vision of Coyote Pass, Robin holds on to her lingering hope that the family can be healed. As Meri, Janelle and Christine move on with their lives without Cody, sister wife Season 19 will force Robin to come to terms with the fate she has created for herself.
