Dwight and the gang already have their eyes set on a wind turbine scam after the end of the Tulsa King Season 2 premiere, but now they’ve stumbled upon a new and somewhat confusing opportunity. in Tulsa King Season 2, Episode 2 Tyson tried to help Armand make some quick money by telling him about his plan to steal catalytic converters from Danny Shore, the same used car salesman who racially profiled him in season 1. While it makes sense why Tyson would want to steal from Danny, Tulsa King Did not fully explain why they went after his catalytic converters.

Catalytic converters are a car part designed to reduce the amount of pollutants in a vehicle’s emissions. What makes them so valuable is the fact that many catalytic converters use platinum to accomplish this task, and platinum is one of the most valuable precious metals in the world. It is a fairly common crime in the real world to do exactly as the gang did Tulsa King: Jack up a car, saw off the catalytic converters, and sell it for its precious metals. It’s also illegal for newer cars not to have a catalytic converter, so Danny had to replace them all.
While Tyson probably wanted to hurt Donny for being racist against him, stealing his catalytic converters also opened up an opportunity. After Mitch went to return half of the converters they stole, he started sweet-talking Danny into selling his dealership.. Dwight will likely take advantage of this opportunity, as a car dealership would be a great way to launder money from their more illegal dealings while also earning legitimate revenue. The car dealership could even participate in the gang’s future illegal dealings, as they could easily run some form of scam using the vehicles.

Will Goody really betray Dwight and join Cheeky?
Goody may want to rule Tulsa for himself
There are already a few ongoing plot threads in there Tulsa King Season 2, but the end of episode 2 introduced a bombshell surprise to top them all off. Earlier in the episode, Bill Bevilacqua called Chiki to complain about Dwight being sent to Tulsa, and he said he expected the Invernessi family would have sought his blessing before encroaching on his territory. At the end of the episode, Chiki called Goody personally and let him know that the Invernessi family would side with Bevilaqua against Dwight, and offered Goody a chance to rejoin them..

Since Goody already betrayed Cheki once, and since Cheki killed Jerry Izzo to punish Goody, it is quite surprising that he would offer him a way back into the mafia. Currently, it is not clear whether Goodie will betray Dwight and join Chickie or not. Cheeky switched the deal by saying that once they took Dwight down, Goody would get to control Tulsa for the Invernessi family.. Chiki also asked Goody if he agreed to the plan, and although he did not immediately accept Chiki’s proposal, he also said “this is not a no.”
It’s still too early to tell what Goodie will decide, but his choice could change Tulsa King entirely.
Goodie’s dilemma of whether to betray Dwight or remain loyal to his new boss will likely be an issue for future episodes of Tulsa King. If he does decide to stab Dwight in the back, it could be absolutely ruinous for the gang. Dwight trusts Goodie, and he could do some serious damage to either Dwight himself or some of his revenue streams. On the other hand, Goodie can also play dumb to get information from Chickie, in which case it can be very beneficial. It’s still too early to say what Goodie will decide, but his choice could change Tulsa King in full.
