Marvel officially debuts new hero ELEMENTARY, and she was born to join the Fantastic Four

WARNING: Spoilers ahead for The Spectacular Spider-Men #9!Wonder and Spider-Man Just revealed an all-new superheroine with extraordinary element-based powers that come with a twist, making her a perfect choice for The Fantastic Four. Elemental Powers are prevalent in the Marvel Universe with heroes like Johnny Storm and Iceman, but This hero features unique abilities that elevate not only his powers but also other powers..

In The spectacular Spider-Men #9 – written by Greg Weisman and art by Andrés Genolet – while in a support group, Peter Parker and Miles Morales witness Juliet Marcos or Elementary unintentionally activate her powers and transform into air, water, earth and fire. The two Spider-Men try to help her control her powers by recruiting the supervillain Hydro-Man and later The Human Torch and The Thing, revealing what happens when she combines with another elemental superhuman.

Elementary’s powers are shown to be affected by his emotions, rapidly shifting between elements and combining with other components around him, such as water from the sprinkler system, so Peter Parker enlists the help of the villainous Hydro-Man. While helping her, Hydro-Man and Elementary accidentally combine, causing their minds to merge and allowing them to read each other’s minds and thoughts.. This causes Hydro-Man to be impressed by Juliet Marcos’ turbulent emotional state, but this newfound ability could be a potential asset for when Juliet teams up with other element-based heroes like Johnny Storm.

Peter Parker points out how Elementary’s powers are similar to those of the Fantastic Four, as she is able to burst into flames, stretch herself with water, become invisible with air, and grow rock-like skin when she transforms into Earth. Johnny Storm is able to help Elementary control her powers the best she can out of all her mentors and even suggests that her powers could be magic-based since she is not inhuman or mutant. Johnny Storm’s ability to help Elementary with her powers shows how he is the perfect mentor to train her to become a superhero.and even more so how their combined powers could update the Fantastic Four’s roster.
