The Power The universe was a huge shock recently when news broke that Power Book II: Ghost Season 4 and Power Book IV: Force Season 3 would mark the end of both spinoffs. Given the continued success of the shows set in the Power Franchise, the cancellations came out of the blue. They are both pivotal players in the long-running franchise. A great way to stop their storylines for a while is for Tariq and Tommy to wind up in prison. This direction would pause their storylines until they are needed again in another show. Tariq and Tommy have a complicated history with each other, but there is a lot of potential to work together.

The Mekai Curtis-led Power Book III: Rising Cannon It received a Season 5 renewal earlier this year, long before its fourth season premieres. Depending on how his future plays out, Power Book III: Rising Cannon May end up being the longest-running Power Spinoff.

It is easy to look at the ends of Power Book II: Ghost And Power Book IV: Force As a bad sign for the franchise, but the purpose of a network is to attract and keep viewers.

It won’t be surprising if Curtis finally moves on Power: Origins Because Power Book III: Rising Cannon Will likely not return for season 6 due to cost-cutting at Starz. At some point, the timeline of Power Book III: Rising Cannon will be the same as the upcoming spinoff, so it makes sense from a financial standpoint to continue with one prequel.

As a result, Starz may move forward with more limited series set in the Power Universe. Some storylines don’t call for an ongoing series, so the network can think more about future projects.
