How Jack’s Snowman Turned Into a Real Person

It wouldn’t be a Christmas movie without a little magic, and Hot coldAll the fantastic elements are summed up in a simple red scarf. The Netflix Christmas movie, directed by Jerry Ciccoritti and written by Russell Hainline, tells the story of a snowman who comes to life one night and later falls in love with the woman responsible for his humanity. Of course, this impressive feat in Hot cold It wouldn’t have been possible without a little magic.

The cast of Hot cold includes Lacey Chabert as Kathy Barrett, the woman who (unknowingly) brings the snowman to life, and Dustin Milligan as Jack Snowman, the aforementioned snowman. After Jack’s transformation, he meets Kathy and integrates well into the small town of Hope Springs. The people welcome Jack warmly, and he and Kathy begin to fall in love. Unfortunately, Jack’s time on Earth in Hot cold is apparently limited as it slowly begins to melt, but a little magic at the end of the film solves that problem quickly.

At the beginning of Hot coldthe audience learns that Kathy is a widow who lost her husband two years ago. Since then, she has closed her heart. Then, Mel, one of the co-owners of a store in town and a friend of Kathy’s, gives Kathy a scarf it forever changes her world in Netflix’s fantasy holiday romantic comedy. Kathy doesn’t know it at first, but the scarf has magical powers.

Mel tells Kathy that one Christmas she put on a red scarf and ventured to the local pub, where she met her future husband. So when Mel finds a red scarf that reminds her of the one she wore so many years ago, she gives it to Kathy so she too can find love. Mel believes the scarf came to her for a reason, so she could help Kathy. Lacey Chabert’s character accepts the gift. However, when she comes across a realistic snowman in the square, Kathy wraps her scarf around him, takes a photo, sees a sparkle in his eyes, and leaves.

Magic is ultimately the reason Kathy and Jack lived happily ever after in Hot cold.

After Kathy leaves, the snow begins to magically swirl in the air, transforming the snowman into a human – Jack – like an EDM version of “The Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” by Hot cold the soundtrack plays. Evidently, The scarf’s powers enable whoever wears it to find their true love. This brought Kathy to Jack, and that’s why the scarf turned him into a real man.

Unfortunately, Jack is arrested at the end of Hot cold on Netflix. He is thrown into a prison cell, where he is left to melt away until the town comes together to convince Sheriff Hunter to release Jack. It seems like it’s too late, however. When the characters pull Jack back out into the cold, he doesn’t wake up, much to Kathy’s dismay. Yet, she kisses Jack goodbye and takes the red scarf to remember him by.

As Kathy and Dottie are leaving, Jack wakes up. It seems that Kathy’s kiss not only saved Jack but also turned him into a complete human being who can’t melt. Magic is ultimately the reason Kathy and Jack lived happily ever after in Hot cold.
