All American Season 7 Casts 9-1-1 Star in Recurring Role

A new cast member has come on board All American. The sports drama, which debuted in 2018 and is one of the CW’s last remaining scripted series that was airing before the network was acquired by Nexstar, was created by April Blair and stars Daniel Ezra, Bre-Z, Greta Onieogou and Michael Evans Behling. All American Season 7, which will be the first not to feature Ezra as series regular main character Spencer James, is currently being written and does not yet have an official premiere date.

Put DeadlineElijah M. Cooper – who played the older version of Angela Bassett’s character’s son Harry Grant in season 7 of 9-1-1 – joined the cast of All American Season 7 in a recurring role. He’s ready to play Yasi, South Crenshaw High quarterback. He joins a new cast that also includes Osy Ikhile, Nathaniel McIntyre, Antonio J. Bell and Alexis Chikaeze following the departure of Ezra and his co-stars Samantha Logan, Cody Christian, Karimah Westbrook, Monet Mazur, Jalyn Hall and Chelsea Tavares at the end of season 6.

At the time of writing, It is not known how many episodes there will be Yasi or if there is a plan to introduce it in the future if season 8 is renewed.
