The worlds of Wednesday And Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Coinciding in a new art with Wednesday Addams trying to summon Betelgeuse. Serve as an adaptation of the memorable The Addams Family character, Wednesday is released on Netflix in 2022, with Jenna Ortega in the title role. As the wait for Wednesday Season 2 continues, Ortega recently appeared in Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice BeetlejuiceTaking on the role of Astrid Deetz, daughter of Winona Ryder’s Lydia Deetz, who was a central character in the 1988 original film.

Now, a new piece of art shared by @beedknee Imagine a crossover between Wednesday And Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. In addition to Ortega’s version of the character, the art also includes Christina Ricci’s take on the character as seen in The Addams Family (1991) and Addams Family Values (1993), with both saying the name “Beetlejuice,” to challenge him. Ryder’s Lydia is also in the art, stopping the couple from saying the name a third time and challenging Michael Keaton’s chaotic bio-exorcist. Check out the art below:

Connective tissue between Wednesday and Beetlejuice explained

If Beetlejuice Beetlejuice And Wednesday All feel similar, which is probably because Burton had a hand in both. Before directing his Beetlejuice continue, The filmmaker directed four episodes of Wednesday season 1 while also serving as an executive producer on the show. Stylistically, it probably wouldn’t be a big shift if the two worlds were to crossover.

in many ways, Lydia and Wednesday are similar characters, with both interests in the world of death and the macabre. Both also, as seen in the art above, sport wardrobes consisting mostly of blacks and other dark colors. Astrid, too, takes after her mother in many ways, meaning both Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Characters would certainly work well in the world of Wednesday. The only problem with a crossover, of course, is that Ortega features in both properties, which can be challenging to explain.

What form a crossover may take

Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams gives a stern look at someone in Wednesday season 1

Although it’s not hard to imagine an epic crossover between Wednesday And the world of Beetlejuice BeetlejuiceOne feels unlikely to happen on screen. Instead, the art above suggests that the best way for the two worlds to meet would be on the page in some kind of comic or graphic novel. Doing a crossover this way would be less of a risk creatively and financially than doing so on the big or small screen, but it has the potential to be just as entertaining and darkly charming.
