Jingliu could make a huge gameplay comeback and I couldn’t be happier

Jingliu’s gameplay comeback in Honkai: Star Rail Could happen as early as version 2.6, according to new leaks, and I’m particularly happy because of how good a character she usually is in my team comps. Jingliu is a 5-star ice character who follows the path of destruction in HoYoverse’s turn-based RPG. She was released over a year ago and her HP drain mechanic made her incredibly strong against enemies, especially those with Ice weakness. In fact, Jingliu is still one of the best DPS characters in the game, even though a lot of her value declines with newer releases.

Some DPS power creeps in Honkai: Star Rail have been added to the game, and, despite the lack of better ice characters for damage dealing purposes, other units still exceed her damage potential. Acheron, for example, is one of the best DPS in the game and she can plow through an opponent’s HP bar without necessarily matching their weaknesses. As such, Jingliu has fallen into several disuses over the past year even when the enemy is weak against Ice DMG. However, this may change soon if the latest leaks about version 2.6 are proven to be true.

Leaked relic set in Honkai: Star Rail 2.6 could renew Jingliu’s value as a DPS

The new gear may tie up your game mechanics

As previously mentioned, Jingliu’s power as a DPS never declined, per se, even though she was surpassed by several other units in the game. nevertheless, A new relic set in version 2.6 could renew Jingliu’s valueAs indicated by information provided by the leaker known as HomDGCat. The details were shared in a post tagged as “Reliable“On Reddit. The leak showcases the beta changes to two new relic sets in version 2.6 – including a previously leaked Honkai: Star Rail 2.6 Relic set that could make support characters incredibly more powerful in team comps.

One of the leaked relic sets is called Scholar Lost in Erudition. The highlighted four-piece bonus states that the equipping character will receive 20% increased DMG dealt by their ultimate and skills. moreover, After using their Ultimate, the character increases the DMG dealt by the next scale usage by 25%. Learned lost in erudition’s two-piece bonus, according to Honey Hunter WorldIncreases the user’s CRIT rate by 6%. From an initial standpoint, this relic set seems like the perfect way to bring Jingliu back Honkai: Star Rails gameplay meta because of how well it ties in with her kit.

If the Leaked Scholar lost in Erudition Relic set would be equipped by Jingliu, her two main sources of damage would be significantly improved. With her skills, Jingliu would be able to get a stack of Sizigi and deal increased damage to opponents. With her ultimate, she would also get a stack of Syzygi and deal more damage than usual. Jingliu’s trick is that she enters the special transmigration state, improving her skills and advancing her action. In this state, Jingliu would already be dealing increased damage from her regular kit, in addition to the bonuses from the Relic set.

Additionally, because she entered the state and had her Action advanced, her next Scale usage would deal 25% more DMG on top of all other bonuses previously calculated. If the new Honkai: Star Rail 2.6 Leak is true, The Scholar Lost in Erudition Relic set can transform Jingliu’s Skill into a massive nukeEspecially when used in the fight right after your ultimate helps you enter the special transmigration state. The rumored 20% DMG bonus is already incredible on its own, but the added 25% DMG bonus to the skill after an ultimate could make this Jingliu’s new BiS (best-in-slot).

Jingliu is now stuck with an outdated relic set in Honkai: Star Rail

Jingliu’s value has partially declined due to better relics

This is a much needed buff to Jingliu. The 5-star ice character is currently stuck with a relic set from the game’s launch, Hunter of Glacial Forest. The Relic set provides a powerful 10% Ice DMG buff and a 25% CRIT DMG increase after the equipping character uses their Ultimate for two turns. however, It feels completely outdated and holds back the true damage that Jingliu can achieve as a DPS.

That’s not to say that the rumored Scholar Lost in Erudition Relic set is broken, but it feels more on par with the game’s current moment, and it gives Jingliu a new set of build possibilities in Honkai: Star Rail 2.6. This relic set has the potential to bring Jingliu back into the meta and help us retire her Hunter from Glacial Forest piecesWhich feel useless at this point.

Other characters may benefit from Honkai: Star Rail 2.6’s leaked relic set

Sushang could see a massive buff from the rumored relics

Sushang, from Honkai Star Rail, plays with a flying bird.

Jingliu will probably be the character to most benefit from the leaked Scholar Lost in Erudition Relic set upon its release, but she won’t be the only one. Another senior character, Sushang, could see the upcoming Relic set become her BiS. This is because Sushang is a DPS character who relies mostly on her ultimate and her skills – and she can have her Action Advanced on using her Ultimate. This means that Sushang in Honkai: Star Rail May get the Relic’s passive DMG bonus and then trigger the extra Skill DMG bonus right after her ultimate.

Additionally, Sushang has an innate gameplay mechanic that allows her to deal more damage with her skills, but the chances are low. The odds, however, are improved upon using her ultimate. If Sushang is capable of activating this, stacked with the 45% DMG increase provided by the rumored Scholar Lost in Erudition set, her gameplay value could increase significantlyAlso, and allow us to retire her Champion of Streetwise Boxing Relic set, which is also from the release of the game. Sushang is not the best dps in Honkai: Star RailBut she can become more useful.

As a Jingliu enthusiast who tries to use her in any opportunity where enemies present ice weaknesses, this is enticing news. The way I used Jingliu has declined significantly thanks to other stronger DPS units and I often find myself not picking her, despite adoring her gameplay kit and how well-built she is in my list. I’m excited by the prospect of being allowed to use her more often without sacrificing my overall gameplay performance – but the Relic set’s rumored release in Honkai: Star Rail 2.6 will be the moment to test it.
