Although he may not seem as impossibly strong or as frighteningly large as Mane’s version, Castle has Michael Myers that eerie quality that he is just a shape moving through the shadows.

The physicality of the role was key to how effective the villain was, as there was a mindlessness to his actions that gave the character the emotional detachment that made him all the more terrifying. While the mask helps a lot, Castle proved that the one under the mask is instrumental in Halloweens success.
