Skybound Entertainment’s GI Joe is already preparing to be the “Biggest comic book launch of the decade“And Now, the details for the second issue of the Energon Universe relaunch confirm the debut of a new Cobra strike force.: The Valkyries. These new antagonists will make their debut in the new shared universe of Skybound, giving the newly formed GI Joe team a threat to be reckoned with.
GI Joe #2 – written by Joshua Williamson, with art by Tom Reilly – will raise the stakes for the flying team, which was formed at the end of this year’s Duke Miniseries to deal with the threat of the Transformers after their arrival on Earth.
