Pokemon is preparing for Halloween a month early with a new merchandise drop from the Pokemon Center, and it’s just as spooky-cute as you’d hoped. Pokemons Halloween range extends beyond the beloved spooky trick or treat trading cards, with costumed plushies and more.
The Pokemon Centers first new Halloween items for sale in 2024 include Four keychains and two plushies. The new Poke Plush Keychains depict Pikachu, Rowlet, Froakie and Fuecoco, all dressed up for Halloween with cute scared expressions on their faces. The two plushies are larger, non-chained versions of Pikachu and Fuecoco. These new items join the Spooky Pokéween collection and are available to ship immediately after purchase.
The Pikachu keychain and plushie wear a tiny black witch’s hat, while Fuecoco’s keychain and plushie has the Gen 9 fire starter Pokemon sitting in a jack-o-lantern. Froakie and Rowlet only have versions of the keychain (so far), with Froakie wearing a witch hat, and Rowlet wearing a top hat.
All of the keychains come with a sturdy clip and are about 2.8 x 3.4 x 4.3 inches. The plushies are slightly larger at 3.5 x 4.9 x 8.7 inches. Keychains cost $15.99 USD each, and the plushies are $29.99. Older Halloween collections are also available for purchase.
2024’s Pokemon Halloween drop may be more than just plushies
A later release than normal
This year’s commodity drop is actually coming quite a bit later than last year. The 2023 Halloween Plush and Keychain Collection was announced in August 2023 and features a more orange-themed collection of Pokemon, including The three Gen 9 starters, Mimikyu, Greavard, Gengar, and a very festive Pikachu.

But like last year, Pokémon GO Players can expect to see at least one of the new Halloween outfits in the game. This year’s Halloween event is expected to start a week before Halloween, so fans should be on the lookout for the cute spooky ‘mons to potentially appear in the game.
Our take on the New Pokemon Halloween merch
Crossing our fingers for the missing plushes
The Pikachu and Fuecoco look absolutely adorable, though I hope that the Halloween Rowlet and Frookie will also get plush versions. Each of the designs looks like they have a strong attention to detail, and if previous plushies are anything to go by, fans should be able to expect the high-quality plushies usually sold through the Pokemon Center.
It is possible that the Pokemon Center will add more plushies and merchandise for Halloween as the holiday draws closer. If you look at previous years, this is not likely. At this time, a group image on the store page only shows the six new ones Pokemon Keychains and plushies, suggesting that this could be the full collection for fans this year.
