Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War episode #7 is set to see the conflict heat up as the Soul Reapers regroup and head to what was once the Soul King’s palace. With Yhwach’s elite guard, the Schutzstaffel, taking up defensive positions around the new city of Quincy, they will face a truly difficult battle.
Episode #6 of Thousand Year Blood War featured a number of returning characters making their first true appearances, including Nel, Grimmjow, and Yukio and Riruka, two of the Fullbringers Ichigo met. Nel is now in her adult form, thanks to a device invented by Urahara that allows her to change shape at will. While this probably isn’t the kind of support Ichigo was hoping for, Nel and Grimmjow are powerful fighters in their own right, and this isn’t the time to be picky about allies. Yhwach has ultimate power now, so the heroes need all the help they can get.

What happened in the Thousand Year Blood War Part 3 Episode 6?
Reinforcements arrive for Ichigo and friends
Episode #6 of Thousand Year Blood War part 3 saw Yoruichi summon some unexpected allies: both the Arrancar, in the form of Nel and Grimmjow, and the Fullbringers, in the form of Riruka and Yukio. Although Riruka and Yukio are not here to fight, they have provided extremely valuable assistance, helping Ichigo’s group move discreetly. Grimmjow, on the other hand, is a little too eager to fight and can barely contain himself upon seeing Ichigo again. Still, Grimmjow understands that they have bigger problems now that need to be resolved and manages to hold back.
The Soul Reapers managed to open a portal to the Soul King’s Palace, only to be horrified to arrive at the fact that the Soul King’s Palaces had been remodeled into a massive flying Quincy city. Still, they managed to get there and can now join the fight against Yhwach’s elite instead of leaving the task to Ichigo’s group alone. Meeting Ichigo’s group may be impossible for now, but simply being there will help deflect some of the heat away from them. The Quincy defectors also arrived, ready to take revenge on Yhwach for discarding them.
Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3, Episode #7 Heads to the Sun’s Gate
The Quincy and Soul Reapers face off once again
Episode #7 of Thousand Year Blood War part 3 is titled “Gate of the Sun”, which is the title of chapter 629 of the manga. Based on the manga, fans can expect that the Soul Reapers will begin to encounter Yhwach’s elite forces, triggering new battles with the stronger Quincy. Ichigo’s group will be first, encountering Askin Nakk Le Vaar, who will be less than thrilled to meet them again.
Quincy defectors will also soon enter combat, as Bazz-B will encounter Haschwalth shortly after arriving in this new Quincy city that Yhwach has built. Bazz-B has a specific bone to pick with Haschwalth, and depending on how far the episode adapts, fans may see some flashbacks to what Bazz-B and Haschwalth were like when they were kids and how they ended up in the Wandenreich to begin with. Despite their shared past, however, the only thing that exists between Bazz-B and Haschwalth now is animosity, and that can only end with one of their deaths.
The situation still seems extremely dire for the Soul Reapers, but at least now they are in a position to actually counterattack their enemies. It will take a great deal of luck and all the strength they can muster, but at least the Soul Reapers have a fighting chance in Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War.
