I’ve seen mixed reactions to it. I’ve seen some people really excited by the stupidity of the whole thing, and then I’ve seen other people who are kind of dubious or skeptical about it, and I say, “Hey, give it a watch. I promise you it’s a lot of fun.” .” [But] No, I don’t think so.

I’ve found over the years that I’m often wrong if I make too many predictions about how things will turn out, so I just shy away from doing that in general. But personally, I think it’s great. I’m a huge fan of it, and I always want the show to be larger than life, so the fact that we’re very much into that aspect, I think it’s when 9-1-1 thrives, and I think it’s where We as a species get to thrive. I was super excited for it, and I’m really happy with how it turned out.

What Stark’s thoughts on B-Nado say about 9-1-1 Season 8

More wild stories may be on the horizon

The season 8 premiere delivered one of those 9-1-1′s most intense disaster moments, as Buck and the team have to devise ways to save multiple groups of people from the fast-moving swarm of bees. All of this happened while under the leadership of Vincent Gerard (Brian Thompson), who constantly butts heads with other team members after becoming captain of Station 118 at the end of 9-1-1 Season 7. The tension allowed for B-Nado to be about more than just the insect threat, also highlighting the first disaster the team had to contend with while under stressful new leadership.

Stark’s positive outlook on the Bi-Nado storyline also reflects the many other wild events the team has dealt with, including a tsunami in season 3 and a cruise ship sinking in season 7. It also seems that the Bee-Nado isn’t done with LA, just like previous premiere disasters, meaning more difficulties surrounding the main insect swarm could see even more tension between Buck and Gerrard.
