A new hype trailer for Disney Plus
reveals first looks at shows like Alien: Earth and Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 2. Disney has had a big year, both in theaters and on its streaming platform, Disney+. In theaters, the studio released blockbuster hits, such as the well-reviewed Pixar film Inside Out 2 and the success of the MCU Deadpool and Wolverine. In the streaming sector, Disney released The Acolyte Season 1 earlier this yearone Star Warsfocused program that received mixed reviews along with the well-received Agatha all the time.
Before its 2025 roster, Disney+ released a hype trailer with teasers for many upcoming shows. The trailer included brief snippets from many of the upcoming series that will debut directly on Disney+ or through Disney-owned platforms like Hulu. Streamer has a mix of Hulu’s top IPs and shows
The Disney+ hype trailer teased a distinct mix of shows from its core IPs and more conventional dramatic television series. The franchise’s flagship shows include its upcoming Star Wars: Skeleton Crewwhich premieres this year, as well as its upcoming MCU series, which includes Daredevil: Born Again and Iron Heart. Interspersed between these titles are programs with greater prize potential, including The Bear Season 4 and Dan Fogelman’s drama series Paradisewhich presents This is us star Sterling K. Brown.
Some of the excerpts reveal important details about the upcoming series. The Bear clip from season 4, for example, sees Jamie Lee Curtis return to the role of Donna BerzattoCarmy’s mother. Donna was in The Bear season 3 episode ‘Ice Chips’ in which Sugar is giving birth, but her future on the series is unclear, so this clip confirms that she will return. Other sections of the video, such as Alien: Earth footage, are more vague teasers, but offer the first hints of setting and story.
