First images for The Handmaid’s Tale Season 6 has been released, offering a quick look at the show’s final episodes before its 2025 premiere. The Handmaid’s Tale Season 6 will bring the dystopian TV show to a close, with many characters’ lives hanging in the balance as the series moves towards its big finale. The final season will see the cast of characters trying to survive after the teachings of Gilead begin to gain traction in Canada. Others, still in the former United States, will try to escape whatever fates the tyrannical government may have in store.
Now, The Handmaid’s Tale and Hulu released images from Season 6 on Instagram, teasing what’s to come for the series ahead of its premiere next year. The images show June (Elisabeth Moss), Moira (Samira Wiley), Serena (Yvonne Strahovski), Luke (OT Fagbenle), Nick (Max Minghella) and Aunt Lydia (Ann Dowd) in various scenarios, teasing the tension of the next episodes. A statement from Moss accompanying the footage also reveals that she directed episodes 1 and 2, while David Lester directed episode 3. All were shot by cinematographer Nicola Daley.
