A dark hilarious MCU Meme reveals a strange trend that started with Avengers: Endgame And continues with Agatha all along. Many Marvel characters have died in the five phases of the MCU. Some of them came back to life; Others returned through the multiverse; Some others have stayed dead, and some actually faced their death in the first place. Some characters died before they had a chance to showcase their full potential, like Aaron Taylor Johnson’s Quicksilver; While others died after completing their full character arc, like Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man.
On XUser @FatherLessSnrlx posted an image depicting Natasha Romanoff and the original Gamora lying dead on Wormir, both now accompanied by Agatha all alongThe first victim, Sharon Davis aka Mrs. Hart. Gamora, Natasha, and Sharon all sacrificed their lives to a higher magical power: Thanos had Gamora leave the Vomir monument to obtain the Soul Stone, Natasha Romanoff gave her life to obtain the same stone shortly after, and the Witches’ Path claimed Sharon as Mortal victim of the first trial. Check out the image below:
User @xandraxox Adds two other victims to the same picture. Besides Natasha, Gamora and Sharon, they also add Maria Hill and Wanda Maximoff. Maria Hill died unexpectedly in Secret invasion Episode 1, while Agatha all along Confirmed Wanda Maximoff’s death after her sacrifice to destroy the Darkhold Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. What the Marvel meme really means
Female MCU characters die sooner than expected
Natasha Romanoff, Gamora, Sharon Davis, Maria Hill, and Wanda Maximoff all died sooner than their character arcs led to. Natasha’s MCU journey led her on a path of self-redemption, but she was unable to enjoy one last battle alongside her new “Family“ in Avengers: Endgames final battle, as she died on Wormyr shortly before the Avengers gathered to fight Thanos. Likewise, Gamora cannot participate in the final battle against her abusive father and not fight side by side with Nebula and the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy to protect Earth.

Sharon Davis has the potential to be a fan-favorite character ever since WandaVision Due to its potential for comedy and horror. Sharon began to steal the show in Agatha all along episodes 1 and 2, but then died suddenly in episode 3. Similarly, Maria Hill finally had the potential to be a co-protagonist in Secret invasionBut she was killed almost as soon as she returned. Recently, Wanda Maximoff was on a path to redemption after all WandaVisionBut she quickly became a full-fledged villain and made the ultimate sacrifice Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Our take on the Marvel meme
There are more ways to shock the audience than killing off characters with great potential
All of the female characters who died before their time in the MCU had an impact on the audience during their respective final appearances. However, their potential for future MCU titles may have held bigger moments than their early deaths. Even if their deaths are imminent, a little more screentime and a little deeper character exploration would be welcome. Although death is pretty easy to undo in the MCU – even more so in magic-themed titles like Agatha all along – Early deaths can feel more significant when used sparingly.
