The golden bachelorette star Guy Gansert is competing for the tender heart of Joan Vassos, but the restraining order scandal is haunting him, pulling him back to a darker part of his life – does this incident make him a true villain? Maybe not. There’s more to Guy than a bad day, and he clearly took responsibility for the upsetting event. No one calls him an angel, but then again, maybe he is one sometimes. As an emergency room doctor, he saved lives. Probably many lives. He alleviated suffering too.
In the world of reality television, it’s simpler to divide people into categories. There are villains and heroes. But what about the moral gray area? Is a person the worst thing they’ve ever done or is it more than that? Is Guy worse than the Chock Chapple controller? It’s hard to say. According to Guy, he has been married for 34 years. It was a long time, and during a very emotional breakup, he lost control. He is ashamed. Should that be good enough or should Guy be canceled for his sins? That depends on the viewers and Joan.
Guy Gansert is sorry for what he did
But he has a dark side
People may regret it, but it doesn’t change what they did. Guy and his ex-wife share four children and have overcome their issues, but once upon a time those issues were serious. They fought and she claimed that her then-husband was aggressive. She filed for a temporary restraining order against him. She didn’t want his emails, texts or any kind of contact. She wanted a clean break. At one point, she accused her ex of making a “gun” shape with his fingers and considered the gesture threatening. Things were very, very bad. According to PeopleHis ex said that he:
“tried to physically threaten me.”
People who argue in this feverish moment should not be together – they have crossed the point of no return.
At the moment, the exes are doing well. They attempted to seal the court records and Guy said the restraining order was ultimately thrown out. Of course, he’s trying to appear like a good person.
Guy apologized for what he did
He didn’t try to deny
Face‘s post is long, detailed, and designed to calm angry haters. He has worked as a doctor for decades and probably wants to save his reputation. He probably didn’t expect everything to be ruined on a reality show. He discussed the length of his marriage and talked about his children. He was trying to explain that in his marriage he was mostly good, not bad. It seemed like he didn’t want a divorce since he called him “low point” in your life.
Possibly his disgust made him explode. The reasons why the divorce left him so unstable are unclear, but he definitely regrets what he did. Unlike some reality celebrities, he is not trying to deny any wrongdoing. However, based on the post above, he went too far.
Guy isn’t necessarily a villain, but he isn’t Joan’s smartest choice either. Although Chock can be considered possessive, he has not done anything to upset Joan. She seems to like it when he sits close to her and shows his feelings so openly. The golden bachelorette should choose Chock just because Guy’s wife was once afraid of him. He may be different now, but just in case, she’ll probably be better off with Chock.
