The golden bacheloretteMark Anderson recently said he was open to being The Golden Bachelorand there are signs that her daughter, Kelsey Anderson, wants the same thing. Kelsey, 25, and her father, 58, ran in the Bachelor National shows, with very different results. Kelsey participated in Joey Graziadei’s season The Bachelorand she ended up getting her final rose, as well as an engagement ring. Mark made his first TV appearance when Kelsey took Joey home for a hometown date. Fans fell in love with the retired army veteran and a star was born.
When Mark was announced as a contestant on The golden bachelorette In the first season, there were high hopes that he would get along with 61-year-old Joan Vassos. Although Joan seemed to like Mark, she preferred other men, such as Chock Chapple, 60, and Guy Gansert, 66. After an incredibly awkward solo date on a luxury yacht, Joan sends Mark home before dates in her hometown. Since his elimination, rumors have swirled about Mark’s future with the Bachelor franchise. He would like to be The Golden Bachelor, and there are signs that Kelsey wants that too.
Kelsey has supported Mark since day one
She introduced him to Joan
During a solo date with Joey in The Bachelor season 28, Kelsey revealed that she wasn’t always close to her father. She loved her father very much, but he was in the Army while she was growing up, so he was always away working. After Kelsey’s mother, Denise Anderson, passed away in 2018, Kelsey leaned on her father for support and now they are closer than ever. She trusts him for wisdom and seems to enjoy spending time with him.
Kelsey knows her father always has her back, and so does she. When he arrived at the iconic Bachelor mansion at night one of The golden bachelorette season 1, Kelsey went with it. She got out of the limo first and introduced Joan to her father. Kelsey was fully supportive of Mark’s relationship with Joan and was no doubt devastated by his father when he was written out of the season. There’s no doubt Kelsey is rooting for her dad to be next The Golden Bachelor.
Kelsey knows the process works
She found true love on a Bachelor franchise show
Considering Kelsey’s personal experience with The Bachelor franchise, it makes sense that Kelsey would want her father to lead The Golden Bachelor season 2. Kelsey met the love of her life in The Bachelor season 28 and is now happily engaged to Joey. Kelsey currently lives in Los Angeles with Joey while he competes in the Dancing with the stars season 33. Kelsey’s entire life has changed since joining the show. Not only did she get engaged to her true love, but she is now a top lifestyle influencer with a huge following.
Having found happiness in a Bachelor National program, Kelsey knows the process can work and hopes it works for her father.
Mark knows true love well. He was happily married to Kelsey’s mother, Denise, for 18 years before she was diagnosed with cancer in 2018. According to Kelsey, her mother passed away just two months later. During The golden bachelorette season 1, Mark confessed to Joan that he hadn’t dated much since his late wife’s death. Like Mark, Joan was also a widow. She was married to John Vassos for 32 years, until his death in 2021. Their shared loss was the only thing the two had in common, and it wasn’t enough to keep Joan interested.
Will Mark be the Golden Bachelor?
He has competition
During recent episodes of The golden bachelorette Season 1, ABC ran ads asking for single Golden women sign up to participate The Golden Bachelor season 2. While it’s clear that a new season is coming, there’s still no indication of who THE Bachelor the spin-off’s next lead will be. Mark recently made it clear he is open to replacing 72-year-old Gerry Turner as The Golden Bachelor, but there are several other men from Joan’s season, like 66-year-old Charles Ling and 61-year-old Jordan Heller, who are also in the running.
