Two of the show’s main characters earned their League Of Legends titles
Two of the main characters who turned into their League of Legends champions at the time Arcane Season 2, the Act I finale was Via and Caitlyn. In the game, all playable champions come with their own brief snippets about their history, as well as a subtitle that summarizes their overall character. For Vi, this subtitle is “The Piltover Enforcer”, while Caitlyn’s is “The Sheriff of Piltover”. Thanks to the events of Arcane season 2, episodes 1, 2 and 3, both characters now fit into these subtitles more than ever.
As far as Vi is concerned, the show shows her coming to terms with the fact that Powder is no longer inside Jinx, teaming up with Caitlyn to bring Jinx to justice as a result. This arc sees Vi joining the Piltover Enforcerscomplete with his Hextech gauntlets. This aligns her with her League of Legends character, with the same being said for Caitlyn due to the manipulations of Ambessa Medarda – potentially a character who could appear in Arcane spin-offs – at the end of Arcane Season 2, Episode 3.
Ambessa angers the citizens of Piltover and convinces them to declare martial law against Zaun. In doing so, Ambessa also appoints a general to carry out these attacks against Zaun until the underground city is subdued and Jinx is imprisoned or killed.
