Silo Season 2 has a perfect Rotten Tomatoes score, which bodes well for the series’ reception. Adapted from Hugh Howey Silo trilogy of books, The first season of the Apple TV+ series saw engineer Juliette Nichols (Rebecca Ferguson) uncover dark secrets about the underground siloincluding the truth about the outside world. Silo season two will continue Juliette’s journey now that she has left her silo, as those left behind struggle with the consequences of her departure.
On Rotten tomatoes, Silo Season 2 premiered with a 100% Tomatometer score, which is a significant improvement over Season 1’s 66% Popcornmeter score.. While not as substantial, it’s also an improvement over the first season’s strong 88% Tomatometer score. What does this mean for Silo
Season 2 is even better than Season 1
Silo season 2’s Tomatometer score indicates that the new season will be even stronger than its predecessor. Many of the Season 2 reviews are full of praise Siloof world-building, which significantly expands the narrative scope of the series. Reviews also emphasize that the ambitious story is grounded in the characters’ human struggles and the actors’ strong performances, while the series balances the plot of Juliette’s outside world alongside the revolution brewing in the first season’s silo.
If these elements resonate with the general public as strongly as they do with critics, Season 2’s Popcornmeter score should be significantly higher than 66%. With Silo Already widely considered one of the best sci-fi shows on Apple TV+, Season 1’s Popcornmeter score is surprisingly low, especially when compared to its 88% Tomatometer score. There should be less of a divide in Season 2’s critic and audience scores, not just because of the current Tomatometer score, but because those who didn’t like Season 1 likely won’t watch and rate Season 2.
Our Take on Silo Season 2’s Rotten Tomatoes Score
Better reflects the high quality of the program
Since then Silo revolutionary episode of season 1, I’m eagerly awaiting season 2. Silo was one of the best new shows of 2023 and the season 1 finale provided the perfect backdrop for an even more compelling second season. It’s promising to see how enthusiastically critics are responding to season two and which is even better than the first season. Silo Season 1 was much better than the Popcornmeter score indicated, but Season 2’s scores may be more reflective of the show’s high quality.
