After announcing his mother’s passing, David Dangerfield of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days shared some more bad news, this time about his relationship with Sheila Mangubat. The couple was last seen in 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days Season 6where David traveled to the Philippines to meet Sheila, who is also hearing impaired like him. During the season, the couple became engaged and Sheila’s youngest son, Jhonreil, agreed to move to the United States to live with David. However, David revealed devastating news to Sheila during the Tell All about her K-1 visa.
David revealed that he had applied for Sheila’s K-1 visa, but it would take at least two years to be approved, not the three or four months Sheila was hoping for. The couple agreed to stay together, with David promising Sheila that he would continue to visit her in the Philippines.
Recently, David shared a photo of himself hanging out with his friends, seemingly coping well with his mother’s death. Fans were happy for David and one Instagram user, @tammy.im.lovinlifehe asked when Sheila could join him in the United States. David responded to the comment, revealing heartbreaking news. He replied, “I have to wait.”
What does David and Sheila’s visa delay mean?
David and Sheila are probably overwhelmed by their communication issues
David and Sheila’s relationship could be in danger as they spend more time apart. Sheila’s reliance on texting to communicate and trust issues could further complicate their long-distance relationship. Recently, the couple also stopped sharing many romantic photos together on social mediasuggesting that they went through a rough patch in their relationship. It’s possible that one or both of you are thinking about ending the relationship to resolve these issues and move on. Due to the long wait, the 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days the couple may consider withdrawing the K-1 visa application.
During 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days Season 6, Sheila struggled with trust issues with David. She became jealous when David’s interpreter, Aimee, joined them on their romantic dates. Sheila felt insecure when David was able to communicate with Aimee in sign languageand she couldn’t. However, Sheila was aware of her insecurities and promised to work on improving her sign language skills. Throughout the season, she was seen communicating better in sign language, although still not perfectly. It’s possible that Sheila’s inability to communicate with David became a stumbling block in their long-distance relationship.

David remains devoted to Sheila despite visa delays
Although David and Sheila may be facing challenges in their relationship, they have shown true love for each other in 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days season 6. Given the strong connection they demonstrated on the show, it doesn’t seem like they would have given up on each other so quickly.
