Doom and Kong waging a secret war over thousands of years should make for an interesting one-shot, As the two villains use the symbiotes Flexo and Rascal in a kind of chess game through the ages. Flexo was a Golden Age hero who reconnected to be a symbiote, found by brothers Joel and Joshua Williams, who sculpted it into a crime-fighting robot. Conversely, Rascal spawned from the symbiote Bedlam, which was sent to the early 21st century by Kang. Once there, he bonds with Norman Osborn’s grandson Normy, and has become the latest version of the Red Goblin.
The concept of the two villains waging a war in secret across the timeline would be very fitting for the MCU.
This is a great way to bring Doctor Doom and Kong the Conqueror into conflict, and could set a precedent for how Doom will take Kang’s place as the big bad of the MCU going forward.
