Deputy Chief Reid is well positioned to be Chicago PD’s next villain
Voight is on the verge of a breakdown
It won’t be shocking if Reed is Chicago PD Season 12’s Big Bad, given the state of Voight’s mental health. He claims that he is good, but everyone can see that he is not. Voight is seemingly on the verge of returning to his old ways And crossing the line between right and wrong at work. As mentioned above, The way Reed was introduced during “Ten Ninety-Nine” is suspect. Alarm bells seemed to go off in Voight’s head while meeting and inspecting Reid. Plus, it’s funny that Reid just happened to be nearby and thought he’d drop by and meet Intelligence while they were still reeling from a bad case. Voight still had blood on his hands from crying. Hatosi serves as a recurring cast member in Chicago PD Season 12, however, meaning the next few episodes will likely reveal more about Reed and if he is truly an antagonist.
