Ryan Murphy returns to horror with GrotesquerieWhich depicts a detective and a nun working together to solve a series of murders, and One of the crime scenes features a mysterious pot that is important to the case. The FX horror drama series seemingly serves as Murphy’s American Horror Story replacement, and its content certainly lives up to the standards set by its predecessor. Grotesquerie is grotesque (hence the name), disturbing and utterly horrifying as detective Lois Tryon and sister Megan attempt to uncover the perpetrators behind the shocking murders.
The figure of Grotesquerie Includes Niecy Nash-Betts as Detective Lois Tryon, Michaela Diamond as Sister Megan, Courtney B. Vance as Marshall Tryon, Nicholas Alexander Chavez as Father Charlie, Raven Goodwin as Merritt Tryon, and Leslie Manville as Nurse Red. Plus, Travis Kelce is expected to appear in Grotesquerie Episode 3 still missing episodes 1 and 2. With a talented and notable cast (and Murphy behind the wheel), Grotesquerie is set up for success. however, The crime scene of the murders of the Burnside family can be gruesome enough To intrigue viewers on their own.

During FX Grotesquerie Episode 1 Niecy Nash-Betts’ detective Lois Tryon is called to the Burnside family’s home, where the parents and three children have all been brutally murdered. While inspecting the crime scene, Lois comes across a large pot sitting on the stove in the kitchen that is still boiling. Grotesquerie Never shows the audience what’s inside. however, The show implies that the Burnside family’s baby was in the potAnd so they died.

Later in the episode, Lois describes the disturbing scene to sister Megan. She is able to explain what happened to the parents and two of their children without fear, but even The tough character had difficulty telling Sister Megan that the baby was in the pot. Unfortunately, the baby’s death is among many other gruesome murders in Ryan Murphy’s horror series Grotesquerie.
How the rest of the Burside family was killed in Groatsquarie Episode 1
The dead in the family were morbid
While the baby died in the boiling pot in Grotesquerie Episode 1, the rest of the family also had terrifying deaths. Per TVLineLois tells sister Megan that the Burnside Patriarch is “salted and peppered, seasoned with fennel seed and cayenne and roasted for two hours in a 375-degree oven with sunchokes and baby carrots.” The Mother and two older children were tied up as the father was dying. After that, they were forced to eat some of it, and then they died of “acute shock”. So, it makes sense why multiple police officers gave up after witnessing the crime scene in Grotesquerie.
