Bring the characters of Baldur’s Gate 3 to life with the Official Dungeons and Dragons Miniatures

Being based on Dungeons & DragonsIt stands to reason that Baldur’s Gate 3 Would work well as a tabletop game, making the new official miniatures an essential purchase for fans. Wizards of the Coast did not oppose the RPG from Larian Studios as part of the official D&D Cannon, went so far as to indicate that some members of Tav’s party may return in future products. Although there is no known project that includes the likes of Wyll and Karlach, Creative Dungeon Masters can use miniatures to weave their own stories.

Per the Wizkids shop, Fans can now purchase an “Icons of the Realms” set dedicated to baldur’s gate 3, And the actual miniatures are fairly impressive.

Each figure is pre-painted and the entire collection features every character one could need to continue Larian’s story: Astrio, Shadow, Karlach, Laezel, Will, Gale and even Withers are included in the box. The product is currently available for pre-order and can be purchased for $49.99Which is certainly steep but given the amount of detail included in each of the miniatures, the price may be justified by diehard enthusiasts.

What does this mean for Baldur’s Gate 3?

A commitment to the future

Wizards of the Coast has already promised more stories with Baldur’s Gate 3 Letters and the miniatures are a great first step. Selling a whole icons from the Realms box solidifies the heroes as part of Dungeons & Dragons‘ Constantly expanding learningFurther strengthens the publisher’s obligation to keep. Miniatures are only really designed to help players visualize a character or picture a battlefield, but in this case, there may be something more at play.

This is pure speculation, but it could be the case that Wizards of the Coast could be close to releasing an official adventure dedicated to Baldur’s Gate 3s figure. The launch of the Icons of the Realms set could help facilitate a module dedicated to continuing the story of Tav’s party, Give players a more immersive experience. Only time will tell if that’s the case, but it’s not hard to imagine more products dropping soon.

Being official Baldur’s Gate 3 Miniatures are a nice touch for diehard fans, but players who want to set their game in the titular city don’t need to pick them up. in Dungeons & Dragons, Miniatures are a fun way to visualize the party in a scene, but this can also be achieved with the imagination of the group.. Don’t feel pressured to buy them, D&D Is still a lot of fun without the tiny figurines.
