The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Introduces a new mechanic to the game. Instead of fighting with a sword, players are given a tri-wheel and accompanied by a companion known as Tri. As players play as Princess Zelda for the first time in a main Zelda game, they must rely on the tri-wheel to overcome challenges and fight monsters.
The tri-wheel lets Princess Zelda scan certain items and monsters too Make echoes of them. Using the Tri-Wheel again, Princess Zelda can summon the Echoes to do her bidding or help her navigate Hyrule. There are many things to consider, some more useful than others. So, what are the best echoes to get early?
10
old bed
Build platforms or take a snooze
Forget the table – the first echo Princess Zelda learns while figuring her way out of Hyrule Castle. The table is initially nice, as it allows Princess Zelda to stack and climb higher. But the bed is a good upgrade. While the table is short and square, the old bed is longer, providing more of a platform for Princess Zelda to climb onto. It also provides more space to stack. Instead of stacking directly on top of one another, you can stack them half off, creating a ladder, which you can’t do with the table echo.

As shown in NintendoUKs video, the old Bed Echo takes only one triangle away from Tree. So, in the beginning, Princess Zelda can summon three. As Tree grows stronger and gains more triangles, Zelda can Create even more beds at one time. Like the table, the Ancient Bed Echo is found in Hyrule Castle. Besides using the Wii platforms, Princess Zelda can rest in them and restore hearts.

Trampoline
Jump to New Heights
The Trampoline Echo is also useful for reaching high places. Princess Zelda’s jump is not the highest. Using the trampoline allows you to jump a little higher, though not much. However, you can jump even higher if you Stack two trampolines on top of each other Or even one trampoline on top of a table or bed.

Trampolines cost one triangle to challenge. The original trampoline can be found in Suthorn Village, near the well, as shown in Quick tips‘ Video. A child NPC will be standing nearby. Approach the trampoline and scan it to learn the echo. The good thing about the trampoline is that Princess Zelda can reach shorter ledges and platforms with just one instead of stacking two or three tables or beds.
8
Keese
Challenge bats to attack or slide
The Keese is one of the earliest monsters you will face in Echoes of wisdom. Any seasoned Zelda player will recognize the conflict battles as they have been in every major Zelda game since the Nintendo Entertainment System days. In most games, the Keese are annoying pests but are easy to kill. While the easy-to-kill part hasn’t changed, the Keese have a different goal.
Related
Princess Zelda can grab and slide down from high platforms. The Keese can also fight on Princess Zelda’s behalf. However, as in previous games, the Keese are weak and easily killed. However, most enemies are weak early on, and summoning three Keese at once can usually take them down. or, at least, Provide a distraction While Princess Zelda flies.

The Keese Echo is another echo that only takes one triangle to use. They were found early in the beach cave, as in June guides‘ Video. To get the echo, Princess Zelda must kill one. Create a rock echo to toss at a Keese or use a nearby rock to do the same. Either way, the case will die, leaving behind an echo that Princess Zelda can scan.
7
Strandtula
Climb up walls with Strandtula’s thread
Suthorn Ruins is the first dungeon you will encounter Echoes of wisdom. It’s not a difficult dungeon by any means, but it has some Decent echoes to find. One echo is the Strandtula Echo. Another enemy, the Strandula, is a spider that dangles from a web. Once an echo, Princess Zelda can summon the Strandtula to make the same thread from which it hangs. The thread can be Claimed to access higher platforms.

Unlike the Echos before it, the Strandtula takes two triangles to use. The spiders can be found in the third room on 1F of the Southhorn Ruins. Move onto the center platform and drop something heavy on the Strandtula. The strandtula will fall to the ground. Summon a monster to attack the Strandtula until it is dead. Choose its echo.
6
Ignizol
Burn grass patches and monsters with Ignizol
Should come in different types. The first one you encounter is a green Zol, found in Suthorn Beach. It is weak and slow and has no unique qualities. However, the Ignizol has something that sets it apart. Although it is also weak in combat, the Ignizol comes with a Flame on top of his head. Thus, everything that Ignizol touches burns. My favorite part of the Ignizol is summoning it into a grassy field and watching the entire field catch fire, leaving behind rupees in its wake. It is an effective way to Eliminate large patches of grass and weeds.
Be careful not to get too close to the fire, as it will burn you too!
However, the Ignizol is useful beyond just burning grass. It can also burn monsters. Monsters hiding in grass fields are quickly burned as the grass burns. Other monsters, like the Strandtula, are weak to flames. Cast an Ignizol on his web and watch the web and the Strandtula burn. There will also be times when Princess Zelda needs to light a torch, so the Ignizol is a must-have.

Ignizol is in several places. The first place you can find one is in the first Southhorn Forest cave that Princess Zelda comes across. Throw rocks or pots at it until it is dead, then collect its echo. The echo requires two triangles to use.
5
Cloud
Build Infinite Cloud Stepping Stones
The Cloud echoes in Echoes of wisdom is probably my favorite in terms of platform-making echoes. Although it only has a small area to stand on, what is nice about the Cloud Echo is that It needs nothing under it. Unlike the table and bed, which both require ground, the cloud floats, so you can stick one anywhere in the air. While the Cloud Echo requires two triangles to summon, you should have four triangles to spare when you get the Echo, which means you can create two clouds simultaneously.
The cloud echo is temporary and will disappear on its own after a short duration. Make sure to quickly use your clouds in succession so that they do not disappear on you.
To use the echo effectively, create one cloud and step on it, then create a second one in the direction you need to go. Up, down or across doesn’t matter. Jump onto the second cloud, and create another, replacing the one you just left. Doing it this way means you’ll have infinite clouds to step on, and you can reach any height you want.

To get the Cloud Echo, you need to visit Hebra Mountain and go to the styled version. Clouds are everywhere. Scan one to get the Cloud Echo. Then, you can enjoy chaining the clouds infinitely to climb high or cross chasms.

Spear Moblin
Summon a spear moblin to attack monsters
The Spear Moblin is the first decent monster echo you’ll get. It’s not the greatest, but it’ll be better than the Zul and Kees you’ve encountered so far. The Spear Moblin uses his spear to Attack enemies both close and far, including high up. I killed the spear moblin by summoning several Zul’s and letting them attack together, but you can also summon other monster echoes or even the stone echo and throw rocks at it.

The spear moblin echoes in Echoes of wisdom Costs two triangles, but once you level tree up to where it has four triangles, you can summon two of the monsters at a time. For enemies with shields, it’s useful to summon one as a distraction and then unleash a second one from behind. Find the Spear Moblin in Suthorn Forest.
3
Crow
Use the crow to paraglide from platforms
The crow is another flying enemy. Like the Keese, the Crow can attack airborne, ground-level, and water-based enemies. It is slightly stronger than the Keese is, so it will be more effective in taking out enemies. Plus, on the first attack, Crows will knock rupees from their target. Princess Zelda can also latch onto the crow and use it to slide off platforms.
When you go up against crows, they can also knock rupees out of your pockets, so be careful when approaching them and do your best to avoid their swaps.
Crows need two triangles to spawn. You’ll find them in Hyrule Field, north of Lake Hylia and near the Gerudo Desert. Since they are flying monsters, attack them with the Keese. Summon as many as you can to attack the crow.

The Crow is more powerful and can easily take down one or two of your Keese. Just keep challenging them to replace the slain until the crow itself is killed. Then, collect his echo for a more powerful flying companion.
2
Darknut
Take down stronger enemies with Darknut
Darknut is an armor-clad enemy with an ax that can Deal impressive damage When fighting by Princess Zelda’s side. The only caveat to the Darknut Echo is that Darknut moves slowly. As such, the Darknut Echo is not always an effective choice to go against enemies who are faster on their feet or even multiple enemies at once. Still, it’s more effective than the weak echoes Princess Zelda has received up to this point. So, it is worth having.

Darknut is found in the Suthorn Ruins on 2F in Echoes of wisdom. Hit one with multiple Zol’s or Keese’s, and collect its echo. Due to its power, the Darknut Echo requires three triangles, so you won’t be able to summon more than one for a long time. Still, one might just be enough to take down an enemy or two that Princess Zelda’s other Echoes are struggling with.

More
Call your horse from anywhere
The Karat Echo serves one purpose, but it’s a useful one. Princess Zelda will soon get a horse. Unfortunately, it can be easy to lose track of the horse. Perhaps you need to teleport to a waypoint, leaving the horse behind. Fortunately, the Karat Echo will reunite you and your Sid. Use it, and Princess Zelda will Call the horse to where she is.
Unlike the previous echoes on this list, the Karat Echo is not just found; You don’t have to hit an enemy to get it. Instead, you’ll need to complete a side quest from Impa, northwest of Hyrule Castle. The side quest involves tending to a lake patch, at which point Princess Zelda can pull a lake from the ground and study its echo.

As Princess Zelda continues her journey to save her father, Link, and all of Hyrule, she will encounter many more Echoes. As she learns the Echoes, continues to fight monsters and imposters, and visits the Steeled World, Tree will grow in power, providing more triangles for Princess Zelda to summon more Echoes. The Echoes that Princess Zelda starts with aren’t the best in the game, but they’ll get the job done when you start out and may even provide some utility later on.
Be vigilant in exploring Hyrule as some echoes are easy to miss. The 10 echoes above are easy to find and easy to use. They will help you as you progress through The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.
