How to beat the seismic talus boss in
Aim the glowing purple orb to win
Entering the room will trigger a short cutscene that reveals the Suthorn Ruins boss, Seismic Talus. He’s a pretty big enemy compared to Princess Zelda. He is made entirely of stone, with glowing purple eyes and a purple orb at the bottom. Princess Zelda will want to focus on her efforts The purple orb to defeat the rocky menace.
My strategy was to Summon as many Keese as possible and target the orb with ZL, which worked out well. Seismic Talus landed some heat on me, which did some damage, and I quickly learned that I needed to move around quite a bit to avoid his giant hand slams. So , that’s how I spent my time – putting distance between us while challenging my Keese’s to do all the hard work.
If you are struggling against the enemy, open the Echoes menu to pause the game temporarily. While paused, look through your echoes and come up with a strategy.
On start the fight in Echoes of wisdomSeismic Talus will float around Princess Zelda as if trying to attack. Don’t give in, instead, watch his movements. He will soon throw a fist at Princess Zelda. Dodge it. My strategy involved using Keese, which means you can summon other monsters to attack the purple orb. Since it is ground level, the Caromadillo will work.
Seismic talus will sPut your hands on the ground. Keep your distance so you won’t get knocked down. Keep fighting until the boss collapses and the Purple orb pops out. Transform into a swordfighter and attack the orb with your sword.
Use Swordfighter only when Seismic Talus collapses and the orb is movable. Since Swordfighter is temporary, you’ll want to conserve as much energy as possible.
Seismic Talus will wake up and regain its assembly. Collect any floating energy left behind to reenergize your swordfighter form. Continue against Seismic Talus until he changes the orb placement. instead on his bottom, It will now be on his arm. With his new form comes a new attack: a tornado spin with his arms. This attack has a decent size radius, so stay far back from him when he’s swinging his arms.

You will need to change your strategy if you have been using ground-based echoes. The orb is no longer reachable from the ground, so call Keese or a spear moblin. Launch in a series of attacks Until the orb pops out again. Change back into Swordfighter and attack the orb with your sword.
Seismic Talus will resume its assembly for a third and final time, and the orb placement will be changed again. The orb will now It’s stuck in his head. His eyes turn red, and his attack and speed increase. His attacks become faster, and he can now turn his hands on Princess Zelda. Move around the room until there is an opportunity to attack.
Eventually, seismic talus will Put your hands down. At this point, he will lean forward, And the orb will be exposed. Summon your ranged attackers and focus them on the orb. After some damage, the orb will pop out one last time. Using your swordfighter form, slash the orb continuously until you hit Seismic Talus.
