Arcane The biggest question of Season 2 revolved around which council members survived Jinx’s attack in Season 1 and which weren’t so lucky. Arcane the season 1 finale featured this attack on the council. After killing Silco and letting Vi and Caitlyn go, Jinx truly became her. League of Legends champion in Arcane wielding a giant shark-shaped rocket launcher powered by Hextech. Jinx pointed her gun at the Piltover council building and fired, ending the show on a huge cliffhanger.
Arcane Season 2’s story picks up directly from that cliffhanger, with the series wasting no time in exploring who survived the attack and who didn’t. At the center of the death and destruction are Vi and Caitlyn, who blame themselves for not stopping Jinx when they had the chance. With Arcane Season 2 wrapping up the show, the story of the class war between Piltover and Zaun only escalated thanks to Jinx’s attack, which resulted in the deaths of several important characters.
Three advisors died at the end of Arcane’s first season

The central story of Arcane Season 2, Episode 1 focuses on the aftermath of the attack on the council. One of the main ways these consequences are explored is through a period of communal mourning for the counselors who were not fortunate enough to survive Jinx’s actions. Although Bolbok and Hoskel were not important characters in Arcanethey were still important to Piltover’s infrastructure. Both were shown to have a lot of respect among the other advisors and played an important role in making important decisions in the conflict with Zaun, although not always well-reasoned or logical decisions. However, the loss of Cassandra Kiramman is extremely important to Arcane Season 2 how she is Caitlyn’s mother. Cassandra’s death leads to several major plot points, from Caitlyn’s increasing anger and need for revenge against Zaun and Jinx to her appointment as general of Piltover.
Four counselors (including Jayce and Mel) survived Jinx’s attack

Given that Piltover council is made up of seven council members, four of them have survived Arcane explosive finale of season 1. Two of these characters are lesser-known counselors like Hoskel and Bolbok, with the survival of Councilor Shoola and Councilor Salo being confirmed in Arcane season 2, Act I. Salo’s survival is important to the progression of Arcane season 2’s story, with Ambessa Medarda using him as a way to get closer to the Piltover council and have more control over the kingdom.

In addition to these two, Jayce and Mel also survived Jinx’s attack. These two characters were vital to both seasons of Arcanewith trailers Arcane Season 2 hiding the fact that they both managed to escape Jinx’s attack. Alongside these two was also Viktor who, although not an advisor, was present when Jinx bombed the tower. Viktor did not escape unscathed, instead being seriously injured and subsequently placed into a Hextech-induced coma by Jayce.
Arcane Season 2 Still Hasn’t Answered Its Biggest Mel Mystery
Did Mel somehow protect herself and Jayce from Jinx’s rocket?
One of the greatest mysteries Arcane The season one finale occurred when Jinx’s rocket hit the Piltover council. As the missile flies towards the tower, Mel and Jayce are shown rejoicing over the council’s decision to give Zaun rights as a state, thus creating peace between the underground city and Piltover. However, Mel’s back suddenly begins to glow gold as she turns around and sees the rocket hit the tower, just before Arcane season 1 credits start to roll. This indicated some sort of dormant power that Mel possessed, which was the source of many theories drawn up in the three years between ONEmysterious seasons 1 and 2.
Mel’s golden glow could simply be a way to visualize her feeling the rocket in Arcane’s first season, but the show – and its source material – is no stranger to characters with magical abilities.
Despite this scene, Arcane season two, Act I, has yet to address the issue. Mel’s golden glow and apparent premonition of the rocket were not mentioned, raising the question of whether this moment will be faced at some point. Arcanelast six episodes. In Arcane Season 2, Act I, Jayce notably questions how he survived the explosion, but Viktor – who was standing next to him – was seriously injured. This could be a hint that Mel actually has some kind of power.
It could be that Mel’s power protected those closest to her. In the heat of the moment, Mel may have somehow protected herself and Jayce, leaving Viktor and the other counselors to face the ramifications of Jinx’s attack on Arcane season 1. Regardless, there appears to be more to Mel than meets the eye, leaving Arcane the last two acts of season 2 to answer a big mystery.
Set in the League of Legends universe, Arcane focuses on sisters Violet and Powder (later Jinx), who end up on opposite sides of a growing conflict between the wealthy utopia of Piltover and its dark underground city, whose citizens wish to break away from their oppressors. . Hailee Steinfeld, Ella Purnell and Kevin Alejandro star in this animated adventure.
