But Moon Girl’s anti-magic shield is an entirely new upgrade
Steve Rogers was first seen with his iconic round Captain America shield in the 1941s Captain America Comics #2, later revealed to have been created by metallurgist Myron McClain using “proto-adamantium,” a metal stronger than adamantium or vibranium that has never been successfully recreated. Over the years Rogers has used a variety of different shields, including a vibranium shield gifted to him by the Black Panther, a pure adamantium shield, and an energy-based shield from Sharon Carter. While Iron Man made an entire suit of armor from Mysterium, and Carbonadium was used by Omega Red and Squid Kid, There has never been a Captain America using a shield made of these metalsmaking the new Lunellum Shield a truly one-of-a-kind piece of equipment.
