Janelle’s phone provides powerful reminders

It is such a great loss

Janelle Will never forget her son. She gave birth to him and raised him with love. The emotional devastation she has to live with is so undeserved – life just isn’t fair. Before Garrison’s passing, she was valiantly trying to help him. Janelle heard about a message in a group chat she wasn’t a member of, and she contacted her son. He answered for a while and then he stopped answering. She got Gabriel Brown to check on his brother and he found Garrison’s body. Above, Janelle remembers the happy moments. She writes:

My phone serves me memories every day. Often they are pictures with Garrison. On good days (and today is a good day!) they make me smile because I remember the event and that it was a fun day. There’s always a bittersweet after glow but it’s still a good thing to see the time capsules

Janelle was so brave while dealing with this terrible loss. She is not blaming people – she remembers the person she loved. Garrison loved her too. As she looks back, she also moves forward, showing so much grace and dignity. Janelle’s launching a new business, Taeda Farms, and she’ll be selling flowers.

Janelle loves the natural world – she’s the one camped out in an RV at Coyote Pass. Doing what she loves will help her find peace, but she will never stop missing her son. He was a wonderful man.

Janelle’s son had problems before he died, but he never stopped loving his family. He even adopted a cat, Ms. Butans, that he saved from euthanasia. Garrison reportedly lived with addiction issues – he drank. He was having problems with an ex when he passed away. Janelle tried to save him, doing everything she could. She was always there for him. She says it’s hard to heal and that’s certainly an understatement. She is so strong.
