It’s a great time to play Warframe again

Exoskeleton It’s a game with a long history, but 2024 is possibly the best time to revisit it or try it out for the first time. Exoskeleton first launched in 2013 and has been growing steadily over the past decade. This growth was crucial due to how lackluster the MMO shooter was at launch. Repetitive gameplay, confusing systems, and limited content gave the title a bad reputation and were part of the reason many never continued the game.

Fortunately, developer Digital Extremes has done an incredible job of turning around the free-to-play title to make it one of the best live service games. This comes with massive amounts of new content, new/reworked Warframes to unlock, better story progression, and more player guidance. The game still has its flaws, with microtransactions being a big problem, but many of these flaws can be ignored or worked around. Exoskeleton also capitalized on the lack of competition in the market, since its biggest competitor is the existence of roller coasters Destination and its best expansions.

Why play Warframe in 2024

An infinite amount of content

Exoskeleton in 2024 is a game unlike many others. The horde shooter has become a game where casuals can still succeed, but the more investment, the better the result. Numerous systems combine to give an incredible sense of player progressionand these systems reward players with a noticeable power boost. Power fantasy is the name of the game in Exoskeletonand it’s obvious to see, with the more than 50 different Warframe costumes, how it all works.

Unlike when it was released and when compared to many other MMOs Exoskeleton There’s a huge ending to the game. Players not only need to prepare their Warframes, but also the 100+ weapons the game offers. In both cases, finding the best mods and getting them to max level is the most important feature. This includes resetting weapons/Warframes to give them more energy, via the polarization method, but for the dedicated, this is a fun and rewarding task.

To keep up with all this, Exoskeleton offers a variety of different game modes. The shooter’s main gameplay loop is divided into several mission types that maintain the feeling of freshness. There is also a PvP mode which, although not the most popular aspect, is still an option for those who want to test their skills. A beautiful remix of the game also came out in the “Duviri Paradox” mission. This was a major update that added a souls-like/roguelike hybrid mode that houses some of the game’s most coveted features.

The best Warframe systems that make the game fun and easy

Quality of life

Although some systems are still a little confusing, Exoskeleton did a great job of making the game easy to understand. Most systems and features are explained and present an obvious path of progression. Missions are detailed and provide step-by-step instructions to ensure there is no confusion. This is especially true for newer content, which is arguably the best content on Exoskeleton. In situations where the game is not perfect, there is an extensive fan-created wiki.

The modding system, an integral part of the power gain, is a simple system on paper, but truly complex, in a good way. A mod can mean the difference between a weapon that does no damage and one that clears waves with ease. The element system Exoskeleton uses, along with how the elements combine, is essential for synergy with Warframes species or weapons. This pairs with high-quality content well, when it is recommended to better use the damage and status types that are strong against the specific enemy group.

Arguably the greatest achievement of Exoskeleton is your fantastic trading system. Warframe Marketplace, the online trading site used by most players, was created by the community but approved by Digital Extremes to simplify things. This website allows players to exchange their items for a free premium currency called Platinumand then use that Platinum to get the things they need. This not only drastically reduces the tedious routine but also makes Exoskeleton a truly free game.

Exoskeleton is going strong and shows no signs of slowing down. In December, the game will add its Warframe 1999 to update, an expansion that takes players back to the modern day to show how the universe became what it is. While many of the details are still unknown, there are signs of what to expect. This includes new enemy bosses, cosmetics, weapons, game modes, and of course, Warframes.

Warframe 1999 it will also be the beginning of the next new saga in history for the franchise. This will lead to many more updates that explore the great threat looming over the universe. An entity that is still largely unknown to the player base, but that has been pulling many strings behind the scenes. While the franchise’s lore can be confusing and scattered, it’s a remarkable thing for those willing to take the time to learn it.

General, Exoskeleton still has a long and promising future. The ideas and guidelines for a game that is as flexible as possible are almost endless. From a business perspective, it’s unlikely to slow down as long as it remains profitable, and the recent jump in consistent players and attention will likely help that. As long as competition remains limited and the studio avoids self-induced accidents, Exoskeleton has the chance to continue for another decade.

Although it took some time, Exoskeleton more than made up for its rough launch. The game has a lot to offer on several fronts and is easier to get into than ever before. Along with all the information being easily accessible, the community is one of the most useful in gaming. Even with the new expansion on the horizon, catching up is not an impossible task, and finding help with the current popularity will be easy. For all these reasons, and the infinite potential of your future, 2024 is the time to play Exoskeleton.
