The only Rare Illustration card to appear on this list, Latios is part of a connected card art alongside his longtime partner, Latias. Of course, it’s not just the Christmas spirit that makes this card desired by Pokémon fans, but also its powerful abilities. The card’s Tropical Frenzy move deals 150 damage and allows the player to attach any amount of Basic Energy from their hand to their Pokémon. The move Swinging Sphene is a potential one-hit KO attack, with players flipping a coin to automatically KO their opponent’s active Pokémon.

The best-selling card in Sparks ariseSpecial Rare illustration of Pikachu’s ex, shows the mascot of the Pokémon franchise. Pikachu is sitting with its back to the player, with its head turned and looking up. Pikachu looks radiant in its Pokémon Stellar Tera form, its fur glowing with Terastal energy. Although ex Pikachu only has 200 HP, which is low for an ex Pokémon card, his Resolute Heart ability prevents him from being knocked out in one hit while at full power. Additionally, its Topaz Bolt attack deals 300 damage, which is enough to KO any Pokémon in the game.
