There is no word on whether Salem’s site 2 is happening, but it could work by focusing on Ben and Mark’s return to the city and fully explore their second battle with the city’s vampires. Although Ben and Mark are the only known characters who started the brush fire, a sequel could take some creative liberties by giving them some more fellow vampire slayers.

What happened to Ben & Mark after Salem’s Lot’s book ended?

It seems that Mark and Ben settled back in Mexico and remained there, although the novel gives no indication of what happened to Mark after Ben’s death. However, it seems that the two largely stayed away from the titular city of Salem’s place After two bouts with its vampiric population.
