The hood almost collected all the stones

The Hood is a remarkably skilled thief, but he never really rose above a minor threat in the Marvel Universe. After a run-in with one of Loki’s Norn stones, the Hood got a taste of true power. Desperate to gain power again, the Hood would try several things, such as looking into magic and even striking a deal with Dormammu. When all this is done, The Hood figured he might also try to steal the Infinity Stones. He had the skills to do it, and it would be the easiest way to get the power he craved. He almost succeeded before being defeated by the Avengers.

Green Goblin used the infinity stones to disastrous effect

One of the worst people to receive the Infinity Gauntlet was none other than the Green Goblin. While Thanos had an actual goal of genocide, the Green Goblin was a madman who only wanted power for its own sake. With the power of the Infinity Gauntlet, Norman slaughters the Avengers and anyone else who stands in his way. With his Dark Avengers, Norman managed to take over the world. Desperate for approval, he then teleported his own father to the new timeline to show what he had done. When his father remained unimpressed, Norman deleted him in a rage, accidentally also deleting himself.

Captain America used the stones to push away a universe

One of the most impressive uses of the Infinity Stones was during the Incursion events. It was here that the multiverse began collapsing and universes collided with one another. In a desperate attempt to save Earth-616 without destroying another Earth, Captain America used the Infinity Gauntlet along with all the stones to physically push away an approaching universe. It was an incredible display of power, one that was too much for the stones to handle. Immediately after pushing away the approaching universe, the stones were destroyed.

Spider-Man used the Infinity Gauntlet Some Times

A great thing about Spider-Man is his sense of responsibility, which is why he is one of the few people who can be trusted with the Infinity Stones. This happened twice. Once was in Avengers and the Infinity Gauntlet, which repeated the original Infinity Gauntlet Happening in a much more light-hearted way. In this version of the story, Spider-Man actually manages to get the Infinity Gauntlet away from Thanos and uses it to save the universe. in What if? The New Fantastic FourThe Fantastic Four were comprised of Wolverine, Hulk, Spider-Man, and Iron Man. Once again, Thanos is defeated and Spider-Man is given the gauntlet to undo his destruction.

The Infinity Gauntlet Event was huge. One of the biggest that Marvel has ever done, and the ending was expectedly chaotic. After Nebula manages to steal the Infinity Gauntlet from her father, she has no interest in handing it over to the heroes. crazy with power, Nebula was tricked into undoing the last 24 hours, reviving everyone Thanos had killed and freeing the cosmic beings he had trapped.. When this was realized, a second battle broke out between the heroes of the Marvel Universe and Nebula, and she was eventually defeated, with the gauntlet taken by Adam Warlock.

Black Panther used the gauntlet after the multiverse was destroyed

After the multiverse is destroyed, the only remaining bastion of reality is Battleworld, created by Doctor Doom with the power of the Beyonder. Doom rules over Battleworld with an iron fist as its omnipotent leader. Black Panther, along with many other characters, didn’t want to live under Doctor Doom’s tyrannical rule, but with the power of the Beyonder, there wasn’t much anyone could do. That’s when Black Panther appeared with the Infinity Gauntlet and attempted to challenge Doom’s rule. Unfortunately, Doom’s power still proved to be too great.

Adam Warlock tried to keep the stones safe (but failed)

After all the chaos the Infinity Stones caused, Adam Warlock tried to keep them safe and out of the hands of evil. Unfortunately, Adam has an evil alternate personality called Magus, who would love nothing more than to use the stones to take over the universe, which is exactly what he tried to do. This led to another one Massive battle over the fate of the Infinity Stones, but thankfully, Magus was eventually stoppedAnd the stones were safe again. At least until Galactus tried to collect them.

Loki used the Infinity Stones several times

Loki is one of Marvel’s most popular villains, so it only makes sense that Loki would get his chance with the Infinity Stones at some point, but surprisingly, readers really don’t see much of it. It was revealed that in an alternate timeline, Loki murdered Thanos to remove any competition in finding the stones. But Loki eventually came to regret the decision. No longer missing the stones, Loki used Wolverine to go into the past and prevent himself from ever killing Thanos or collecting the stones. It’s unfortunate because Loki with the Infinity Stones sounds like an amazing story, but it’s one that readers didn’t get to see at length.

Santa added everyone to the naughty list with the Infinity Gauntlet

One of the most unexpected and dangerous wheelers of the Infinity Stones was Santa Claus. On Christmas Eve, Santa approaches the Illuminati for help, as it turns out that all of his reindeer are secret Skrulls. This leaves Santa with no way to deliver his presents before Christmas morning. with no other choice, Santa Humbly asks the Illuminati if he can use the Infinity Gauntlet and Infinity Stones to release his gifts. They graciously say yes, and Santa immediately goes mad with power and tries to kill everyone, only to be defeated with a well-placed snowball by Namor.

Thanos has used the Infinity Stones to incredible effect, but he has also been defeated time and time again. While he is certainly the most iconic with the stones, he is far from the most powerful to wear them.

One of the most terrifying people who could have the Infinity Gauntlet is Darkseid. While Thanos wants the death of every living thing, he too Secretly wants to quit. Thanos Will to lose. Darkseid has no such desire. With the Infinity Gauntlet, Darkseid’s victory would be complete and Brutal. This was the fear everyone had when Darkseid managed to get the Infinity Gauntlet and stones during JLA / Avengers. Thankfully, Darkseid’s plans are thwarted, as the Infinity Stones don’t work outside their universe of origin.causing Darkseid to quickly toss the gauntlet aside, labeling it a waste of his time.

Galactus tried to use the stones to end his hunger

Of all the people to use the Infinity Stones, it’s fair to assume that Galactus would have the least reason to do so. Galactus is already immeasurably powerful and can essentially do anything the Infinity Stones can through his power cosmic abilities. But the one thing Galactus can’t escape is his unending hunger. He hoped that with the infinity stones he would be able to heal himselfBut things are never quite that easy. Instead of curing his hunger, Galactus accidentally unleashes a universal parasite that nearly devours the entire universe, and is surprisingly stopped by Thanos.

Celestials created a new version of the Infinity Stones

One of the most mysterious things about the Infinity Stones is their origin. While Marvel originally explained this with Nemesis, which was for the Soul Stones, after they were destroyed during the Incursion event, Marvel had to explain how they reappeared. The Infinity Stones were placed in the universe by the Dark Celestials. The Celestials only want to destroy things instead of creating. But they are not able to directly destroy the things themselves. To get around this, they created the Infinity StonesObjects powerful enough to destroy the universe, and then they just sat back and waited until someone like Thanos used the stones to destroy everyone.

The Infinity Stones began with Nemesis

The first being to exist in the Marvel Universe was Nemesis. She was completely alone in the void of existence, and desperate, she tried to create life. But since Nemesis herself did not know the concept of good or bad, neither did her creatures, and she accidentally made demons who chose to be bad. Disgusted with this, Nemesis eventually took her own life, dispersing her essence into the six soul stones. This would be the first origin of the Stones in the Marvel Universe, and technically makes Nemesis both the first and the most powerful being to wield their power.
