Ahead of its premiere, an original The Conners Actor has wrapped up filming for the Roseanne Spinoff sequel. Born out of the unexpected death of Roseanne after Roseanne Barr’s firing, the ABC Family comedy has been a steady ratings winner for the network for the past six years. The Conners Was able to seamlessly transition from his roots to become an ensemble, with various storylines going on for all members of the beloved Lanford extended family. Despite its popularity, however, The Conners is ending its run after season 7.
Taking it to her official Instagram account, Emma Kenny Announces that she did Wrapped up filming like Harris for The Conners Season 7Which isn’t due to premiere until mid-season. In the picture, Kenny is seen holding a bouquet as she sits down on her set chair. The iconic Conners family home set is in the background, although no other actors can be seen from the corner of the photo. in the caption, Kenney thanked ABC for hosting The Conners For seven seasons.
What Kenny’s early filming rap means for Harris’ story
The Conners may lose another cast member before its finale
As ABC’s premier comedy, The Conners Usually returns between September and October each year. Season 6 was delayed due to the dual Hollywood strikes of 2023, much like the majority of scripted series on television. For its final season, the network decided to push it to a mid-season debut, as there were only six episodes left. In her post, Kenny does not make it clear if she is the only one who has wrapped filming, or if the show itself is already done with production.
Consider the number of excursions linked in The Conners Season 7, or is possible. If it’s the latter, the rest of the cast would also have finished their work, but since no one else has shared an update about it on social media, it’s hard to say. If it’s the former, Kenny wrapping up early is interesting, as it could be an indication of what can be expected from Harris’ story.
Kenny, who finished filming earlier than her co-stars, could mean her character could leave Lanford.
Darlene and David’s firstborn has been through a lot in the past few years. in The Conners In season 6, she inherited the lunchbox from Jackie, who decided to retire from running it. Kenny, who finished filming earlier than her co-stars, could mean her character may leave Lanford. This would create a vacancy for the business she should run.
Our take on the upcoming ending of The Conners
It’s time to say goodbye
Ahead of the confirmation that The Conners Would be ending with season 7, I thought the show was already nearing its end. As a sitcom, it could have lasted another couple of years, because it could continue to deal with the story of the new generation of Conners. But, when John Goodman commented on not expecting the project to last that longI thought he might have lost interest in continuing the show.

Instead of forcing it to Moving forward without Dan Conner, it’s better to wrap it up with a complete cast. What’s surprising is that ABC chose to push The Conners Season 7 to a mid-season debut. Even with only six episodes, it would be difficult to get its finale to a May release date — unless they plan to kick things off sometime in the late first quarter of 2025.
