What Mackie’s BTS Post Means for Twisted Metal Season 2
When will the Peacock Show return
At the time of writing, Twisted metal season 2 does not have an official release date. With filming complete, the show is basically guaranteed to return sometime in 2025. The post-production work required, including editing and visual effects, means that the show definitely won’t return until sometime next year. The closure of filming means, however, that the first promotional images and trailer for season 2 could very well be released before the end of 2024.
Mackie’s post doesn’t reveal much about the story of the upcoming episodes, but the Twisted metal The end of season 1 suggests that a Twisted Metal tournament is imminent. Doe also seems likely to discover more about his past in the new episodes. As for who will join Mackie in Season 2, several Twisted metal Season 1 cast members will likely return, including Stephanie Beatriz as Quiet, Anthony Carrigan as Calypso, Samoa Joe as Sweet Tooth, Will Arnett as Sweet Tooth’s voice actor, Thomas Haden Church as Agent Stone, and Mike Mitchell as Stu, among others.
Our Take on Mackie’s Twisted Metal Season 2 Post
Mackie was the highlight of season 1
Mackie’s post does not include any indication that Twisted metal season 2 will be the last season. All 10 episodes of Season 1 premiered in July 2023 and the renewal announcement only arrived in December, with Peacock evidently collecting months’ worth of viewership data before making that decision. Although the second season does not yet have a release date, it is likely that audiences will have to wait several months after the premiere to find out if Twisted metal Season 3 is happening.
The Peacock show’s debut was fun, if somewhat flawed, and it will be interesting to see where the story goes in season two. Mackie himself and his portrayal of Doe are one of the series’ greatest charms.and its evolution after the events of season 1 could represent an exciting change of pace. Many questions remain about Twisted metal Season 2, but the show is evidently one step closer to returning.
