Kathryn Hahn, the star of Agatha all alonghas commented on the possibility of her character herself in MCU movies of the future. When you look at the list of upcoming MCU movies, there is little tying any of them to the more supernatural side of the franchise. The witches of Agatha all along Exist in something of a side pocket of the universe, with only Doctor Strange tied to their magical nature. That said, Agatha all along‘s cast now exists in the wider universe, meaning the potential for crossovers will always be present.
Interestingly, Kathryn Hahn recently commented on the possibility of Agatha’s appearance in upcoming MCU movies during a live recording Happy sad confused Podcast (via The direct). After exploring how Agatha is one of the first truly learned witches in the MCU and commenting that she thinks witches are a great way to tell side stories in the franchise, Hahn commented on the concept of Agatha Harkness being placed in another Marvel grouping:
“But I think that there is… would be a lot of potential fun in just dropping a witch into any grouping.”
The comments came after Hahn was reminded that Agatha is even a governess for Reed Richards and Sue Storm’s son Franklin Richards, who is potentially set to appear in The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Apparently, Hahn is not afraid to appear in other MCU movies, driven primarily by how fun it would be for her to play in the sandbox with other actors and characters as a witch.
Agatha all along could not be the end for the character
As for what these comments could mean for the future of the MCU, it could mean that Agatha’s journey continues Agatha all along. If the theories of Joe Locke’s Marvel character are to be believed, that he is playing Wiccan, then Agatha all along would have deep connections to the wider MCU through the Scarlet Witch. This could give Agatha a future ahead Agatha all alongs history, leave you for future appearances.

With Hahn commenting that she likes the concept of Agatha interacting with other MCU groups, the likelihood grows. After all, there are plenty of ways Agatha could be folded into other MCU properties in the mentorship role she often holds in Marvel Comics. As such, Hahn’s comments could bode well for the MCU future through Agatha surviving in her solo show and appearing in more projects of the multiverse saga.
My first reaction to Kathryn Hahn’s comments about the MCU is that she is absolutely right. Above all the other positive aspects of the show, Agatha all along Is simply spooky fun. A big factor in this is the cast of characters, with each actor equally making the witches of the MCU likable, funny and likable. The characters are a delight to watch, with a big reason behind this being their supernatural origins as witches, Agatha included. how so I can’t deny that Hahn is right when she says that dropping a witch into any facet of the MCU has great potential.
There are other supernatural movies like Blade or the potential Doctor Strange 3 Which would not only allow for a lot of fun but also make sense logically for a witch to appear in…
When Hahn said that, I immediately started thinking about what franchises might be the most fun for a witch or witch-adjacent character to appear in. Of course, it’s the MCU’s Young Avengers movie if Teen is to be confirmed as Billy Kaplan/Wiccan. Apart from this, there are other supernatural movies like Blade or the potential Doctor Strange 3 Which would not only allow for a lot of fun but also make sense logically for a witch to appear in. Overall, Hahn is correct in her thoughts, and I now hope that Agatha’s continued appearances come to fruition yet Agatha all along comes out.
