Nobody Wants It Renewed For Season 2 (With One Major Change)

Nobody wants thatThe new Netflix romantic comedy starring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody has been renewed just weeks after its debut. – But there is one big change. Created by Erin Foster, based in part on her own experiences falling for her husband, the 10-episode series centers on the unlikely romance that forms between agnostic and successful podcaster Joan (Bell) and unconventional rabbi Noah (Brody) after they meet yourself at a dinner party. The premise proved to be a success, garnering acclaim, buzz, and also some controversy, ahead of Nobody wants that Season 2.

Term Confirmed that Nobody wants that Season 2 will happen on Netflix. However, there will be a change behind the scenes. Girls Aluminum Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan take over as showrunners, replacing Foster. They will also executive produce along with Nora Silver, president of Jenni Konner Productions, and returning executive producers Bell and Steve Levitan. The deal, which was announced by Netflix’s COO Bela Bajaria, was made before the romantic comedy debuted.

Foster, who previously confirmed plans for future seasons, responded to the renewal in a statement. She began drawing from her personal experience for Joan and Noah’s story, expressing her excitement for working alongside Kaplan and Conner and mentioning being a fan of their work. Creating Nobody wants that Will forever be a career highlight for me. The incredible cast, crew, producers and executives all made it into the show it is today, and to experience viewers’ reactions to the series now that it’s out in the world was more than anything I could have dreamed of. I’m so lucky to be able to continue this story, and to do so alongside Jenny Conner and Bruce Eric Kaplan, who I’ve been such a fan of ever since.
