New Karate Kid movie gets an official title and logo

The new one Karate Kid Movie has received an official title and logo. The sixth film in the franchise, written by Rob Lieber and directed by Jonathan Entwistle, features the return of Ralph Macchio as Daniel LaRusso, reprising his role from the first three films and Cobra Kaiand Jackie Chan as Mr. Han, reprising his role from the 2010 remake. Ben Wang stars as the new lead, with the Karate Kid Reboot also stars Joshua Jackson, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Sadie Stanley, Ming-Na Wen, Aramis Knight, Wyatt Oleff and Jennifer-Lyn Christie.

In a post announcing that the new Karate Kid The film premieres at New York Comic-Con on the Empire Stage at the Javits Center on Friday, October 18, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The official title of the film, Karate Kid: Legendsand logo are revealed.

The reveal of the title and logo for Karate Kid: LegendsCombined with the New York Comic-Con announcement, is an indication that The official marketing campaign of the movie has started. Filming began in April 2024 and wrapped the following June, and the film is now firmly in post-production. Now that Karate Kid: Legends Confirmed to be kicking things off at New York Comic-Con on October 18th, there should be plenty of reveals from the new movie, be it images, footage or perhaps even a first teaser trailer.

The title and logo reveal very little in the way of plot details for Karate Kid: Legends. Not much is known about the story, though The new movie is expected to follow a teenager from ChinaNamed Li Fong, who moves to the East Coast and begins practicing martial arts under the tutelage of a tough but handsome mentor, presumably Mr. Han. The new movie is also expected to bridge the gap between the first four films and Cobra KaiKnown as the Miyagi-verse, and the 2010 remake, which were previously assumed to be set in different continuities.
