The ending of Agatha All Along totally changed the way you view the MCU’s two deaths

Warning: This article contains spoilers for Agatha All Along.

The powerful ending of Agatha all the time proved that two of the series’ most heartbreaking deaths could have been avoided. WandaVision spin off Agatha all the time came to an end on October 30th with an epic double finale that tied up most of the loose ends of the popular MCU Phase 5 series. Agatha Harkness and Death had their final standoff, Billy Maximoff embraced his new Wiccan identity, and the truth about Nicholas Scratch, the story of Agatha Harkness in the MCU and the Witch’s Road itself has been revealed.

Agatha all the time The final episodes featured some big revelations, most notably that the song, “The Ballad of the Witches’ Road”, was written by Agatha Harkness and Nicholas Scratch, and that the Witches’ Road itself was a fabricated reality, created subconsciously by Billy Maximoff. This meant that Billy himself had inadvertently caused the deaths of three brilliant Agatha all the time characters, Sharon Davis, Alice Wu-Gulliver, and Lilia Calderu, each of whom died on the Witch’s Road. However, two of these deaths could have been avoided, even if the Witch Road had been real.

Agatha recruiting Sharon Davis makes no sense after the end of Agatha All Along

Sharon Davis was the only non-magical member of Agatha Harkness’ Coven

In Agatha all the time episode 2, Agatha Harkness recruited Sharon Davis to join her clan, noting that she could have been the blackheart on Lilia’s list because of her WandaVision identity of Mrs. Hart. However, Agatha all the time finale revealed that this act of bringing a non-magical individual into the coven made very little sense. Agatha all the time episode 9, “Maiden Mother Crone”, revealed that Agatha Harkness made it all up and used “The Ballad of the Witch’s Road” to lure witches into her trap for centuries.but Sharon Davis was not a witch.

Agatha Harkness planned to sing the song with her new coven and make them angry enough to blast energy at her when the door to the fake Witches’ Road failed to appear. This would have allowed her to absorb his power and become strong enough to face Death and the Salem Seven. Sharon Davis, however, had no power, so she would have simply been a witness to the murder of Agatha Alice, Lilia, and Jennifer Kale. It doesn’t make much sense why Agatha would have recruited Sharon Davis, so her life could have been spared if Agatha had left her alone.

Agatha All Along Episode 8 Proved Agatha Could Have Saved Alice

Alice Wu-Gulliver saved Agatha Harkness’s life at her own expense

After the death of Sharon Davis, Agatha all the time Episode 5 saw the coven take part in Agatha Harkness’ own trial on the Witch’s Road, which involved her being possessed by the ghost of her mother, Evanora. To save her, Alice Wu-Gulliver fired energy at Agatha. This saved Agatha, but allowed the Salem witch to absorb Alice’s power and life energy, which Agatha claimed was an ability she had no control over.. However, Agatha all the time episode 8, “Follow Me My Friend/To Glory at the End,” confirms that this is not the case.

During Agatha Harkness’s battle with Death in Westview, Billy Maximoff’s Wiccan fired energy at Agatha, restoring her to her full former strength. Instead of draining all of Billy’s power and life force, however, Agatha easily stopped this process after consuming just enough. This proves that she could have done the same for Alice on the Witch’s Road, saving the young Blood Witch’s life and allowing her to live. after freeing himself from the generational curse that plagued his family for decades.

Agatha’s Questionable Actions Make Agatha Even Better

Agatha Harkness has always been a villain in the MCU

Agatha Harkness is still a villain in episode 8 of Agatha All Along

The idea that Agatha Harkness could have easily prevented the deaths of Sharon Davis and Alice Wu-Gulliverbut chose not to, underlines the fact that she is first and foremost a villain in the MCU. Agatha Harkness spent centuries before Agatha all the time luring hundreds of witches to their deaths. Although the series has proven that she has many redeemable qualities and is a strong mentor to younger witches such as Wanda and Billy Maximoff, she is still a serial killer and a very selfish and morally questionable individual, which makes her his next steps in the MCU even more intriguing.
