Fatima kills Tillie
Tillie’s death is incredibly tragic
When Fátima is in the greenhouse at the end of the episode, she is consumed by agonizing physical pain. Tillie sees Fátima in danger and tries to comfort her, but this turns out to be a deadly mistake as Fátima takes a pair of gardening shears and stabs Tillie in the chest. Fátima is immediately horrified by what she has done and screams for help. In her last moments, Tillie tells Fátima to run. Ellis is the first to arrive at the scene when he sees that his wife has murdered an innocent woman.
As soon as the news of what Fátima did spreads among the residents of the municipality, most of them will turn against her. Sara Myers (Avery Konrad) is still vilified and feared, even Victor (Scott McCord) recently called Sara the “scariest” person in town. Fatima will likely usurp that position due to Tillie’s murder, the disturbing condition that plagues her, and the fact that Sara hasn’t caused any trouble in a while. It’s tragic to lose kind Tillie and see Fátima commit such an atrocity.

Donna wants Fatima and Ellis to leave Colony House
She has to think about the greater good
At the beginning of the episode, Boyd Stevens (Harold Perrineau) and Donna discuss the fact that Fátima is not pregnant and how they should handle this situation in the future. Boyd is surprised and disappointed when Donna explains to him that she wants Fatima and Ellis to leave Colony House. Donna explains that she needs to ensure the safety of everyone who lives at Colony Houseand she doesn’t want residents to panic or be put at risk unnecessarily because of whatever is happening to Fátima.
Donna knows all too well what can happen to Colony House when an individual makes a bad decision, from the resident who left one of Offrom the monsters inside during Season 1 to Dale (Cliff Saunders) accidentally stabbing Ellis during an argument in Season 2. Even though Donna is just worried, Boyd is irritated by her suggestion. However, given what happens between Fátima and Tillie later in the episode, Donna was right to want Fatima to be separated from the rest of Colony House.

Bakta wants to reopen the restaurant
This could be a much-needed source of hope
As Acosta leaves the diner, Bakta enters and begins talking to Kenny about wanting to reopen the diner. Since the terrible death of Tian-Chen Liu (Elizabeth Moy) in Of Season 3, Episode 1, the restaurant was not operational, as Tian-Chen was the one running it. Reopening the restaurant would be a bittersweet development as it wouldn’t be the same without Tian-Chen, but township residents would greatly benefit from the diner opening again.
In Seasons 1 and 2, the diner helped create a sense of community and normalcy, a place where residents could gather to eat good food and spend time together, and briefly escape the constant horrors of the city. This would give Bakta and many of OfIt’s something meaningful to focus on and can help rebuild the community after the many recent tragedies. This would also help Bakta have a more prominent role in the series. moving forward.

Fatima’s stomach collapses
Your condition becomes more strange and disturbing
Before murdering Tillie, Fatima is pushed to the limit when her stomach suddenly begins to collapse. This is scary and painful and made even worse by the fact that no one else sees it happen. When Ellis runs into the room after hearing her scream, her stomach appears normal, making it seem like she had imagined the whole thing. This makes Fátima feel even more scared and isolated. than she already felt, because not even her husband can see and fully understand what is happening.
They could clash mightily before the end of the season, with Elgin potentially being the only one who can save Fátima from a dark fate.
The sunken stomach is somewhat reminiscent of the skeletal ghost lady seen by Elgin (Nathan D. Simmons). There is already a theory that Fátima will become this woman, and what happens to her stomach in this episode could further indicate this. Fátima and Elgin’s stories were apparently separated in season 3but they could clash mightily before the end of the season, with Elgin potentially being the only one who can save Fátima from a dark fate.

Elgin finds the ghost lady and a dead body in the basement
The wine cellar was first seen in season 1
A new photo from the polaroid camera Elgin found shows the city’s basementwhich leads Elgin to this location. This is the same basement where Victor hid when he was young and where Jade had one of her disturbing hallucinations. After much suspense and moving slowly through the dark basement, Elgin apparently finds nothing, only to hear an ominous knock. He reopens the door at the end of the basement, which leads to the revelation of a dead body and the return of the skeletal kimono-wearing woman.
The corpse Elgin discovers is different from the crushed body Jade saw in his hallucination when he entered the basement in Season 1. Elgin seems to understand what happened to the deceased, as he asks her if this is really what happened. One of the most important conclusions from this scene is that Elgin is no longer afraid of the skeletal woman. He hoped she was there and seemed to finally be putting the pieces together about what she wanted from him.

Jade thinks the residents may have been chosen by the city
The man of science is becoming a man of faith
Jade, Tabitha and Ethan Matthews (Simon Webster) go out to see Ofin the forest and nearby red rocks after Tabitha realizes she had nightmares about this location when she was a child. Jim Matthews (Eion Bailey) is already there with two other residents collecting food to bring back. As they talk, Jade comes to the conclusion that the free will she has always believed in may be an illusionand that the residents were always destined to arrive at Vila.
His reasoning was that if Tabitha had visions of the City since she was a child, that meant she was always destined to go there. It wasn’t a question of whether she would see the tree lying in the road, but when it would happen. Since Miranda and Tabitha had visions of the city before arrivingat least they both seemed destined to end up in prison. The question is whether this applies to all residents.
