Alice In Borderland Season 3 Story
The Joker Card Remains for Season 3
the show teased a potential new villain for what could be Alice on the Border season 3 story
While Alice on the Border The season 2 finale adapted the manga’s ending quite closely, the series teased a potential new villain for what could be Alice on the Border season 3 story. All over Alice on the Border Battle Royale games, a Joker card game has never been found. In the manga, the Joker represents the Ferryman, the person responsible for taking Arisu and the others back to the real world. However, Netflix Alice on the Border Season 2 ended with an ominous photo of a Joker card in the real world. Alice on the Border season three could therefore feature an original storyline from the Joker card game.
Given that Alice on the Border season 2 ends similarly to the manga, Alice on the Border season 3 will only have two options on how to continue the story. One would be to adapt the Alice on the Border Retry manga, which takes place a few years after the events of Alice on the Border and sees Arisu returning to Borderland. The other option would be to create an original story for Arisu from where Alice on the Border season 2 has ended. However, this would mean a huge deviation from the original manga for Alice on the Border season 3.
