Batman The Brave and the Bold #14 with Buster Gold and The Jurassic League

Buster Gold meets dino-themed heroes Wonderdon (Wonder Woman), Superstar (Superman) and Batsaur (Batman) while trying to retrieve his confiscated time sphere and correct history after accidentally altering it. However, Buster is thwarted by the Jurassic League, who are less than on board with his plan. Batman The Brave and the Bold #14 with Buster Gold and The Jurassic League P2

in Time Jerks, Part 1, Buster accidentally knocks out the asteroid responsible for the extinction of the dinosaurs with his time sphere, forever changing history. This disaster resulted in the extinction of the human race, with Buster being the only exception, and the flourishing of anthropomorphic dinosaurs. In part 2, Buster tries to steal his time sphere back from the Jurassic League to correct his mistake, intending to restore human prosperity and ensure the extinction of the dinosaurs. During his poorly planned heist, Buster is caught by the Jurassic League and tries to explain that he’s just trying to save his species.

The Jurassic League is far from moved by Buster’s plight, with Wonderdon pointing out that saving his species would mean destroying theirs. This leads the three core members – Wonderdon, Supersaur and Batsaur – to cast their votes on whether to allow Michael to continue with his mission. Not surprisingly, they all disagree. Batsaur’s voice is particularly notable, as he quotes American Idol judge Randy Jackson’s famous saying, “It’s a no from me, Dave. While this isn’t the main Batman continuity, it’s surprising to see any version of Bruce Wayne quoting American Idol while embodying the Dark Knight.

Batman the Brave and the Bold 13 Open to Order (Matina)

Batsaur Quote American Idol reveals two important things to fans. First, American Idol is a universal constant that even the extinction of the human race cannot change. Second, Batsaur is much more humorous than its human counterpart. Up until this point, Batsaur seemed to possess a personality closely aligned with his Earth Prime counterpart. However, it is now clear that Batsaur is a pop culture comedic genius, a stark contrast to Bruce’s dry humor. An alternative version of Batman Quote American Idol Judge Randy Jackson wasn’t on Screen Rant’s bingo card for 2024, but he’s more than welcome.
